This is a feast for the senses, both visual and auditory. The circular universe constructed by the giant LED screen will once again become the starting point for artists and all audiences to unleash their imagination. The surging imagination drives us to embark on a journey of self-exploration and self-questioning.

Is the 9th annual crab feast still delicious?
Yesterday, a group of us rushed back to Shanghai from Ningbo during a typhoon just for the crab feast at Shilu.
Every year, Shilu holds a crab feast in a different setting. In 2019, it was held at the Tomson Yipin Clubhouse. In 2020, it was held at a gallery on Moganshan Road. In 2021, it was held at the Xiaolou Art Space on the West Bund. In 2022, it was held at the former British Consulate. In 2023, it was held at the Yicang Art Museum in Pudong. This year, in 2024, the Shilu crab feast is being held at the famous Shanghai Tank Art Center.
Shilu has been holding crab feasts for 9 years. I've been eating them for 6 years. I'm impressed by the team's cohesion and persistence.
That day at the Yongfu Banquet, the core members of General Weng's team had been with him for over 20 years.
The backbone of the Shilu team has also been around for nearly a decade. The team has developed steadily and solidly under the leadership of General Zhu, and all the members are outstanding.
The crab feast that has been polished for so many years does not need us to use too many words to describe its beauty and goodness. More often, we need to appreciate its value. This is also the style of Jiangnan literati eating crabs. This year's Crab Sanbao Rice is particularly outstanding.
The crab feast is now available at all stores. You might as well give it a try.

Shanghai's 'Provence' verbena is just too photogenic
Entering June, the flower carnival in the Magic City is still not over!
Missed the beauty of lavender? No worries, the verbena at Xuhui Riverside is waving at you, blooming so brilliantly~
The romantic and dreamy purple sea, who can resist it? Walking on that winding path, looking at the undulating flower beds, the mood is very chill!
For a photo with the verbena, it's recommended to use portrait mode for close-ups, it's especially convenient to borrow the foreground when taking pictures, portrait mode gets it right every time!
Don't hesitate, come to this unknown treasure of a flower sea, and leave behind your beautiful early summer memories!
📍Detailed address: Shanghai Tank Art Center, 2380 Longteng Avenue, Longhua Street
🚉Transportation strategy: Exit 5 of Yunjin Road on Line 11
🍽Dining recommendation: LOAM CAFE & BAR, a coffee shop that moves between indoors and outdoors, with a very large maple tree inside, very pretty, and the coffee is good too, very suitable for zoning out, gatherings. After taking photos, you can rest here, it's very nice.
📝Note tips: The best time for shooting is from 15:30 to 17:00 in the afternoon, when the sunlight is not too harsh, and the photos turn out great.
June, the perfect time to chase flowers in the Magic City. Come and feel this purple romance!

Provence is too far away, but there is a sea of purple flowers in the center of Shanghai
The Tank Shanghai Art Center has changed its greenery skin again, and after the departure of hyacinths and poppies, this time the protagonist is the verbena. Looking around, the verbena, as tall as a person, surrounds the Tank Shanghai Art Center, making it a great place to enjoy flowers on the weekend (swipe left to see live pictures).

I was fortunate to be invited to the 'New Motion Realm' NIKE group's sensational summer experience
The colorful oil tanks at the entrance were particularly eye-catching
It felt like arriving at a summer party
The event featured a wide variety of themed sports
Skateboarding🛹, basketball, yoga🧘, fitness, dancing..
This time, I chose the dance training class by happy teacher
happy teacher's class was very infectious
Following his every move was filled with joy
Even on a typhoon day, our passion for dancing was unstoppable
With the music and the interaction with the electronic screen
It was incredibly exhilarating
I was completely refreshed after the whole event
And by completing different experience classes, you could even exchange for Nike badges 🥳
UU's, remember to exercise every day in the summer to become more and more beautiful‼

Huangpu River Art West Bank Half-Day Leisure Tour
A route to experience the new Shanghai: an art tour along both sides of the Huangpu River.
Half-Day Tour Itinerary: Pudong Binjiang Leisure Park → Sanlin Road Ferry Terminal (Ferry Station) → Shanghai Tank Art Center on the Art West Bank → Xuhui Riverside Walk on the Art West Bank
Pudong Binjiang Leisure Park
📍Address: North side of the Binjiang Avenue in Pudong New Area
✅Lush greenery, beautiful scenery.
✅There are cycling and walking paths, suitable for cycling or running.
Sanlin Road Ferry Terminal
The ferry terminal from the east bank to the west bank port.
📍Address: San Gang Line, Pudong New District, Shanghai
✅Take the ferry to enjoy the scenery.
The second deck is suitable for taking pictures of the Huangpu River sunset.
The ferry ticket for one person is 2 yuan, and the ferry time is very short, probably about ten minutes. If you don't get enough photos, you can go back and take the ferry again.
❌Try not to ride a shared bicycle on the boat, as the crowded ferry space only allows bicycles to squeeze on the first floor, making it impossible to move. After boarding, you should quickly go up to the second deck to enjoy the river view properly. Don't ask me how I know this ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶) ᕗ
Shanghai Tank Art Center
📍Address: No. 2350 Longteng Avenue
✅A perfect place for photo check-ins:
Romantic lawns with silver houses, lavender fields with purple and white tanks, and if you encounter a sunset, you are very likely to capture a great shot.
Xuhui Riverside Green Space
📍Address: Intersection of Dong'an Road and Longteng Avenue in Xuhui District, Shanghai
✅A good place for walking and taking pictures of the Huangpu River night view
🍀By the way, here's a food recommendation nearby:
Xinfaxian (Xuhui Green Space Binfen City Store), close to the Longhua Middle Road subway station. A real-name recommended Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine restaurant, tested to be delicious and affordable but expect to wait for a seat.

Tank Park in the Magic City is a great spot for photography, with its simple and grand design
I have been to Tank Park twice. It's a spacious and photogenic place. With few people around, the reeds and white tanks complement each other, creating a clean and simple backdrop, perfect for portrait, picnic, and family photos, which is why Wei Ge made a strong appearance again
The interior of the tanks is often closed to the public, but the exterior is a public green space where you can check in freely. Just be careful not to damage public property or the greenery. There are a total of five tanks, offering plenty of spots for taking pictures. You can use the tanks as a background or foreground, the reeds, the white zebra crossing nearby, and the steps in front of the tanks. If you need to lay down a picnic mat, there are two green spaces deep in the tank area, but tents are not allowed. The specific spots where you can lay down a picnic mat will be informed by the security guards. Because we were asked to move shortly after starting our picnic photo session, we quickly finished taking photos under the watchful eye of the security guard.
🚇Transport: There is a subway nearby, but it's more convenient to drive, although parking can be difficult. The tank park does not have its own parking lot, and the nearby West Bund Art Museum requires a reservation for parking and is closed on Mondays. Later, we parked at the Baihui Garden parking lot next to 2865 Longteng Avenue, Puyin Leasing, which is less than a 10-minute walk to the tank park.
🚽Toilets: There are no fixed restrooms, but there are temporary toilets near the riverside.
After being cooped up at home for a long time, we really crave going out for some fresh air! It's also a great place to take the kids out for a walk, especially before the weather gets too hot. Remember to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
Recommended rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A model of modern urban renewal - Shanghai Tank Art Park
Shanghai Tank Art Park (also known as Tank Art Center), located at 2380 Longteng Avenue, Xuhui District, Shanghai, is situated in the core location of Xuhui Riverside, facing the Huangpu River to the east.
The location of the Tank Art Park is the original site of China's earliest airport - Shanghai Longhua Airport (decommissioned in 1966). After the airport was decommissioned, these tanks specifically for refueling aircraft were completely preserved and transformed. From the ground, these tanks are independent of each other, but entering underground, you can enter any tank through winding passages.
Today's Tank Art Park has become an art park integrating tanks, park green spaces, squares, bookstores, education centers, cafes, etc., and has attracted people's attention with its unique charm. It is a new public activity center and internet celebrity check-in place on the west bank of Shanghai, and it is also a new cultural landmark in Shanghai and a hot destination on the world contemporary art map.
It can be said that the Tank Art Park, which contains the industrial space of urban memory, is a model of modern urban renewal, and this is also the first case of tank space transformation in the world.

|The first touch of pink in autumn! The Joe-Pye weed is blooming.⛺ Shanghai Tank Art Center
🚌 No. 2380 Longteng Avenue, Xuhui District (Line 11 Yunjin Road Station)
The tanks were originally part of Longhua Airport. After the airport was decommissioned, they were converted into an art center, where art exhibitions are often held. It is part of the Xuhui Riverside area, a good place to relax.
The current art exhibitions include the 'Tank Player Art Festival', 'Friends of Art', and 'Lover'. However, I didn't go there to see the exhibitions this time, but mainly to take photos. If you don't watch the exhibition, it is completely free and there is no time limit.
Near the tanks, there is a purple sea of flowers, and further back is a large area of Joe-Pye weed, which is very beautiful! There were not many people during the National Day, so it was easy to take pictures with no one in the background. It is a niche attraction. Even in seasons without flowers, it is very photogenic when the weather is good.
Not far away on the lawn, many people are camping and walking dogs, creating a lively atmosphere. After visiting the tanks, you can continue to walk along the Xuhui Riverside, where the view is wide open and even more beautiful when the weather is clear.

Photography Guide | Summer Refreshing Photography Guide at Tank Art Center
The Tank Art Center in Shanghai is one of the few tank space renovation cases in the world, belonging to a pioneering and multifunctional art center. The Tank Art Center is transformed from an airport tank, and there is also a small old airport nearby, which feels very refreshing when taking pictures in summer.
The tanks of the Tank Art Center are pure white, and the overlay of the blue sky is very outstanding. There are lawns, flowers, and foxtail grass in the area, which are also very good embellishments. There is also the blessing of the Huangpu River nearby, and you can also take some emotional photos.
Inside the tank building, there are often exhibitions. It is recommended to choose whether to enter based on the price of the exhibition activities. The interior is mainly stairs and skylights, which are suitable for taking pictures.
About equipment: If it is purely outdoor buildings, plants, and characters, 85 fixed focus is a good choice; if you want to take indoor photos, it is recommended to choose 50 fixed focus.
Shooting skills: (1) You can use plants as the foreground to shoot close-ups of the face or half body; (2) The character stands in the middle of the plant group, shooting back or side full-body photos; (3) The building serves as the background, shooting the character looking back at the special photo; (4) Leaning on the airport fence, shooting emotional photos at sunset.

Roaming Shanghai - Shanghai Tank Art Park
Roaming Shanghai - Check in at the Tank Art Center
The west bank of the Huangpu River in Shanghai used to be an industrial area and freight dock, filled with industrial relics. In recent years, a large number of galleries and art museum institutions have settled here, transforming the industrial relics into public spaces of the city. The rust of the past has become a badge of honor, endowed with new cultural connotations, and the West Bank has become a synonym for the artistic life of the magic city and a trendy check-in place.
The artistic atmosphere on the waterfront of Xuhui Binjiang is strong, filled with avant-garde aesthetics. For example, the art sanctuary built from the abandoned airport oil depot - Shanghai Tank Art Park (Shanghai Tank Art Center), it uses architectural aesthetics to carry the century-old leap of the Binjiang, and after a gorgeous transformation, it has transformed into its own unique charm. The West Bank Art Center and the Tank Art Park are both my favorite art areas... West Bank, the scenery is unique! Shanghai, China

In Shanghai, appreciate the beautiful scenery of the urban prairie
✅This is the Shanghai Tank Art Center, located in the core area of Xuhui West Bank, facing the Huangpu River to the east, and surrounded by modern high-rise buildings rising to the west, surrounded by green lawns.
🌈On the wide and dense green lawn, there are giant milky white tanks, like Mongolian yurts on the prairie, reflecting the brilliant artistic scenery and modern buildings in the distance, forming a beautiful urban prairie scenery line.

The summer tank art center is too suitable for small fresh and big movies!
Magic's tank art center is no stranger to it. From the beginning of winter, I saw a sister paper to shoot reeds.
Its been a long time since I finally went to see the show. I didnt expect it to be a surprise.
Proper!
The first person is really not too much. Although some people can see pictures, but the basic pat is gone, it will not occupy half an hour and an hour.
Recently, the magic is hot, so I went out after five o'clock. I used to sit in SeeSaw and drink coffee to blow the air conditioner...
evening light is the softest but the fastest change. When the light goes to the big scene, there may be no light...
Flower period does not know how long, half a month ago. The little fairy who wants to punch in is hurrying!
