Bronze artifacts from the Shang and Zhou dynasties
Which type of cultural relic represents the highest level of ancient civilization?
The answer is: Bronze ware!
During the Xia dynasty, we entered the Bronze Age.
In the Shang and Zhou periods, bronze culture reached its peak.
This is China!
They were used as food vessels, water vessels, ritual vessels, musical instruments, weapons, chariot and horse fittings, as well as stoves and toys...
Ultimately, our ancestors combined bronze ware with rituals at the Shanxi Bronze Museum, creating the unique 'Ritual and Music Civilization' in Chinese culture.
Exquisite craftsmanship, rich implications, it's history, it's civilization, it's the artisan spirit that makes future generations blush with inadequacy!

Jijin Guanghua | Shanxi Bronze Museum
The Shanxi Bronze Museum is one of only two museums in China dedicated to bronze ware (the other is the China Bronze Ware Museum in Baoji), and it is a branch of the Shanxi Museum.
There are more than 2,200 pieces of bronze ware on display here, ranging from the Taosi culture to the Qin and Han dynasties, spanning the entire Bronze Age. Among them, about 700 exhibits are cultural relics recovered from the recent special struggle against cultural relics crimes by the public security organs.
There are three things I like about this museum:
☑️ The exhibition hall is spacious, the layout is grand, and the visiting experience is good. There are not many people coming to see the exhibition, and the hall is very large, giving a feeling of having the place to oneself.
☑️ The actual items correspond to the display boards, allowing for quick learning. The display boards are very professional and detailed, explaining the patterns, history, and characteristics of the bronze ware.
☑️ The exhibits are exquisite, especially the many animal-shaped bronze wares, which are very cute. I have seen a rabbit-shaped bronze ware at the Poly Art Museum in Beijing before, but here, you could almost open a zoo.
Friends who like bronze ware should definitely set aside some time to come here.

The museum's display area is as high as 11,000 square meters
The exhibits in the museum are very distinctive and worth everyone's visit and check-in
There are not many tourists in the museum, probably because it is relatively niche
