Beautiful pagoda at lotus mountain
We had a great day out at Lotus Mountain Scenic area, the weather was perfect and we got at least 15,000 steps in walking around all of the things to see. The Swallow cliffs and ancient quarry were amazing and vertigo inducing if you are scared of heights. After the cliffs we walked up to the large temple and over to this beautiful tall pagoda. There were lots of year of the rabbit decorations around and lots of flowers and plants.

Lotus Mountain Ancient Quarry
The Lianhua Mountain Scenic zone was way bigger and more impressive than we were expecting. It cost 40 Rmb for entry and we walked around instead of taking the bus for 10 rmb.
The ancient quarry area was spectacular and unlike anything ive seen. The quarry has been used for over 2000 years to provide stone fror nearby important Panyu buildings. The shapes cut into the rock give it a really cool look.

I had heard early on that the scenery at Lianhuashan was nice and that making wishes there was very effective, so I put this place on my schedule. You can drive up to the scenic area and park in the parking lot. Once inside, there is a large green area, and the first things that catch your eye are the Wanghai Guanyin and the Lotus Zen Temple. The huge Guanyin statue is quite spectacular, over 40 meters tall. From a distance, it towers into the clouds, and the Guanyin statue is located right in the center of the layout, accompanied by water, giving the first impression that the feng shui is excellent. It is said that praying here for marriage and children is very effective. The exterior of the Lotus Zen Temple is red walls, and the architecture has a layered layout. Lotus Mountain is in Panyu, you can get there by taxi from the Shiji Station of Metro Line 4, the taxi fare is about 12 yuan, and it takes about 10 minutes. Convenient.
Because there is a Suji snack shop at the foot of the mountain, it only operates until noon, so I suggest you arrive at more than 10 o'clock, go to Suji to eat first, then go up the mountain after eating, and you can go to the port to eat seafood after climbing down. The day is perfectly arranged. I really recommend eating at Suji, see my other note for details.
The ticket for Lotus Mountain is 54, half price is 27, it is very convenient, you can buy tickets by yourself at the entrance.
If you have a car, you can drive directly to the top of the mountain. If you don't have a car, it's not tiring to climb up by yourself. There are not many stairs, mainly slopes. The elderly and children are not stressed.
There are quite a lot of things to visit in Lotus Mountain, we strolled around for half a day.
In addition to worshiping the Bodhisattva, you can also go to the Lotus Zen Temple. There are 3 floors, and the feeling of climbing high and looking into the distance is very open.
