🚗Palm Springs Wind Farm - Joshua Tree National Park Photo Zone - Joshua Tree Star Gazing
Joshua Tree National Park is a popular tourist destination near LA. It is a unique place with surreal deserts, trees, and rocks. Especially at night, it is a great place to see the stars pouring down. The national park's unique visual appeal makes it a popular location for movies, music videos, album covers, and photo shoots. You may have seen it in the media before, but when you actually visit, you can feel the vast and beautiful nature with your whole body~
First, the first course is Palm Springs Wind Farm. It is a great place to stop by and take pictures on the way to Joshua Tree National Park. The sight of huge wind turbines turning in the vast desert is spectacular.
And a little further, you will arrive at Joshua Tree National Park. Joshua trees have a unique visual appeal that is different from ordinary palm trees. When you take a photo with the blue sky in the background, it looks like you are on a different planet~ You can also take a road shot with the long road in the background where there are not many cars and the road is blocked.
As you explore, time flies and the sun sets! Let's go see the Keys View sunset. It is the highest point you can drive to in Joshua Tree National Park. The sunset and San Jacinto Mountain view from there are the best~ Finally, after the sunset, you can see the stars pouring down. Unfortunately, stars cannot be captured with a phone, so we recommend bringing a DSLR camera! And try to capture the stars with your own eyes.

The Joshua Tree National Park is located at the intersection of the elevated Mojave Desert and the lower elevation of the Cololrado Desert in the southeast of Southern California. Joshua trees are almost all over Joshua National Park, and the park is named after Joshua Tree. The Joshua Tree National Park is very original. There is no water in the whole park. The weather is very hot. It is recommended to prepare enough water before departure to add oil to the car. There is no signal in the
national park. I suggest you download the offline map before you go. Although you can get a map when you buy tickets at the door, Google Maps is more practical. Because the desert is particularly cold after the sun goes down, there are street lights and other roadsides. It is recommended that the sun leave the park before going down the mountain. Although the park at sunset is more beautiful~
Joshua Tree National Park has three exits, namely: Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center

Mind blowing scenery of Joshua tree national Park
Joshua Tree is such a cool place. The landscape is stunning: the big rocks, the weird Joshua trees, and that wide-open desert.
The hikes were awesome, especially with the sun setting behind the rocks. It felt like I was on another planet. On the day when I went there, there were very few people.
Driving was a pleasure, most of the roads are dust roads, but they were well maintained. I had lots of water with me in the car and all the snacks I needed - there aren't many places to buy those.
One thing: definitely bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes.
One more tip: download maps to be able to use them offline, cellular connection isn't great there.

Serenade under the Stars
Driving through the vast desert landscapes, I stumbled upon a celestial treasure hidden in Joshua Tree National Park. Stargazing in this mesmerizing oasis left me in awe of the wonders of the universe.
Under the infinite expanse of the night sky, the stars seemed to twinkle brighter than ever before. As darkness enveloped the park, the Milky Way stretched across the heavens, painting a breathtaking backdrop for my cosmic adventure.
Finding a quiet spot away from the city lights, I set up my telescope and let the tranquility of the desert soothe my soul. The evenings in Joshua Tree are remarkably clear, making it an ideal place for astronomy enthusiasts like myself. I was able to spot constellations I had only dreamed of, and even caught a glimpse of a shooting star streaking across the sky.
The park's unique rock formations and Joshua trees added a touch of magic to the experience. As I gazed upwards, the silhouettes of these iconic trees blended harmoniously with the sparkling constellations, creating a surreal atmosphere that transported me into another world.
For those planning a trip to Joshua Tree for stargazing, I highly recommend bringing warm clothing, as the desert nights can get chilly. It's also wise to carry a star chart or a stargazing app to help navigate the skies and identify the different celestial bodies. Additionally, patience is key - sometimes waiting for the perfect moment can lead to the most extraordinary discoveries.
Stargazing in Joshua Tree National Park exceeded all my expectations, leaving me with memories that will shine brighter than any star in the heavens. It's a journey that reminds us of the vastness of the universe and the beauty that lies beyond our daily lives.

How beautiful is Joshua Tree National Park in the United States for a trip
California 🌵Joshua Tree National Park
-
Full of exotic desert landscapes
Every time I go, I can discover its different beauty
Four years ago, I was shocked by its sand dunes and mountains. The fun of checking in this time is to see desert plants and various strange stones formed by granite
By the way, I also distinguished Yucca, Joshua Tree and CollaColla are all thorns. They are super cute but useless
Yucca is generally shorter, with thick gray hair on the leaves
Joshua Tree is generally taller, with no hair on the leaves
-
🗺️We prefer to drive in from the south gate and out from the north gate
In the morning, you can check in at Cholla Cactus Garden (Figures 3 and 4). Each Cholla is like a glowing little hair ball. It's very cute
The structure inside Cholla is also quite magical, it's all holes (Figure 9)
Maybe because it's too dry, it needs to draw water
Then follow the highway to check in:
📌Arch Rock
📌split Rock (right next to the parking lot)
📌Skull Rock (Figure 7)
📌Cap Rock (there is a small arch of Joshua Tree next to it in Figure 5)
📌Keys View (the wind is super strong, Figure 8, remember to bring thick clothes)
📌Broker Dam (reservoir)
Climb a Hldden Valley Nature Trail an hour before sunset
When I returned to the parking lot, I just saw the Joshua Tree and the pink sunset glow. It's really beautiful
-
In addition, we also went to check in at the popular coffee shop at the north gate
•☕️Joshua Tree Coffee Co.
The coffee is a bit strong, I prefer the desserts sold next door. It's really happy to have one after climbing the mountain

Joshua Tree park
A very cozy national park, we were there with a small child and there was no discomfort. Met the sunset with the whole family. We also got to the cactus valley. Cactus are unrealistically beautiful, there was a feeling that they were not from our planet. I recommend the park to visit!

The strange rocks are the main characters, the weird trees are just embellishments, and the Joshua Tree National Park is covered in heavy snow.
(October 1st)
After driving east from Los Angeles for three to four hours, you will arrive.
The presence of this park has always been low. The films shot here not only lack fame, but also have ordinary scenes, unlike the other national parks nearby that can impress you at first sight.
I made a strategy in advance and saw various travel bloggers complaining that the park's landscape is too monotonous, just the so-called "Joshua Tree" between trees and cacti. Missionaries named it because the trunk looks like a person praying with open arms to the sky.
I set off early from Arizona and entered the park through the south gate (California tourists usually enter through the northwest gate). According to the weather forecast, it might snow, so I consulted the staff at the visitor center. Snow on the mountain is no joke, and tragedies of being trapped in the mountains and freezing or starving to death are not uncommon. The staff said that as long as I don't deviate from the main road, there is no danger, and snowplows pass by every hour. Park roads that cannot guarantee safety may be closed at any time. (Winter visitors must be sure to read the signs at every fork in the road. If the park doesn't allow you to enter, they usually can't save you either.)
After entering the mountain, I saw perhaps the most beautiful snow scene of my life. I feel that this park has inverted its priorities from naming to positioning.
The most spectacular scenery on the mountain is not the trees, but the various strange rocks, as if they were enlarged bonsai. The trees only serve as decoration.
Joshua Tree National Park is especially suitable for camping and stargazing in the summer. However, the strange rocks and trees in the snow resemble the artistic conception in ancient Chinese paintings, fully displaying the art of blank space.
