#chongqing #重庆 #洪崖洞 #夜景 #hongyadong interesting place. For nicer photos, suggest you walk to the bridge instead of taking it from the opposite of the road. I dont recommend you to walk down to ground floor if you are coming from 9th or 11th floor. Reason because, you will be spending more than 30 mins just yo wait for the lifts, there are very few lifts in this building. Everyone just uses the staircase to walk up ot down. I walked down from 9th floor to 4th floor and walked up from 4th floir to 11th floor just to walk further to the bridge, fully exhausted. Crazy crowd, traffic jam. The mrt station is quite far, so be prepared to soend a lot of walking at this area.

🎬 Grand Theatre Riverside Park
From Exit 2 of Grand Theatre Metro Station, navigate to "Baodingmen" and walk to the riverside. This is a cobblestone riverbank, so remember to wear comfortable shoes. The riverside is very lively at night, especially on holidays, and there are many small stalls nearby.
Here you can take a photo of yourself with the Qiansimen Bridge and Hongyadong.
🎬 Qiansimen Bridge
This is a great location for taking a panoramic view of Hongyadong, and you can also take a photo of the river. The brightly lit Hongyadong and its colorful reflection in the water make for a particularly good photo. From Exit 2 of Grand Theatre Metro Station, follow the crowd and you will soon reach the bridge. You can walk from the bridge to Hongyadong next to it in about ten minutes.
🎬 Opposite the road on the 1st floor of Hongyadong
Here you can take a close-up photo of Hongyadong, which is very beautiful. However, the downside is that there are a lot of people on holidays, so you'll need to be quick and agile if you want to take a portrait.

Chongqing is so bustling and beautiful, I absolutely love it.
The vast land and abundant resources indeed make the attractions grand and stunning.
Hongya Cave is a beauty that I will never forget in my lifetime.
Even though it was so crowded that it was hard to move, it was still worth the trip.
Although from the second day of the trip,
I had diarrhea every day because of the spicy food here,
I still couldn't resist the deliciousness 🥰
Remember to come early in the evening,
or the lights will be turned off, my friends.
I was really rushing to catch a Didi with all my might.

A magical and charming city
Chongqing, a magical and charming city.
It is like a three-dimensional painting, slowly unfolding between the mountains and rivers. The Jialing River and the Yangtze River converge here, and the rushing waters endow the city with endless vitality.
Hongya Cave, with its layers of stilted buildings, is brilliantly lit at night, as if one has traveled to the fantastical world of Spirited Away. The warm yellow lights reflect on the river, creating a dreamlike scene.
Jiefangbei, the landmark building of Chongqing, has witnessed the city's changes and development. Surrounding it are bustling commercial streets, filled with the atmosphere of a modern metropolis.
The winding paths of the mountain city offer a unique charm as you stroll through them. On one side are ancient buildings, and on the other, the diverse aspects of everyday life.
From the top of Nanshan, you can overlook the entire city of Chongqing. The neatly arranged skyscrapers, the ceaseless flow of traffic, and the night scene adorned with lights are all mesmerizing.
Ciqikou Ancient Town, with its bluestone roads bearing the marks of time, and its quaint shops emitting bursts of fragrance, makes one feel as if they have traveled back in time.
Chongqing's transportation is also a unique sight. The cableways crossing the rivers and the light rail weaving between buildings offer novel and exciting experiences.
And then there is the spicy and flavorful hotpot, with its smoky aroma permeating the streets and alleys, allowing everyone who comes to Chongqing to feel the city's warmth and generosity.
Chongqing has both the agility of mountains and rivers and the prosperity of a metropolis; it has the sediment of history and the vitality of modernity. It is a place full of charm and surprises, waiting for you to discover its every wonder. Let's step into Chongqing, appreciate the unique scenery of this mountain city, and feel its heat and passion. Chongqing always exudes its unique allure.

Chongqing will tame every stubborn person, it's already hot and honest
Honestly, I really don't recommend everyone to come to Chongqing in July and August
Because it's 35+°C every day
It's really really really hot 🥵
But since everyone is here, you have to go out and take a walk
-
In the morning, try to choose nearby attractions to stroll around and take pictures
Go back to the hotel to rest and take a nap at noon
Go out to find food and take pictures in the afternoon when the sun sets
After all, the night view of Chongqing is the most beautiful, isn't it?
-
As for accommodation, I highly recommend staying near Jiefangbei
Because it's close to everywhere!!
For example, the hotel I stayed at this time is very nice 👍🏻
It's a newly opened hotel, clean and hygienic, with super enthusiastic service
It's very close to Hongya Cave, Jiefangbei, Shibati,
Yangtze River Cableway, Shangxin Street and other places
You can get there at the starting price of a taxi
And it's a river view room with a super wide view!
You can save more time to sleep~
-
As for food, there's no need to eat things near the scenic spots
You can find community stores to eat authentic Chongqing hot pot
Find an inconspicuous restaurant to experience Jianghu cuisine
Just find a roadside shop to have Chongqing noodles or something
There's really no need to check in at a specific store
Otherwise, you'll waste time and be hot as a dog!!!!!!!
-
As for clothing, everyone must bring cool clothes, pants, and skirts
Comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat (or umbrella) to carry with you
Always remember to apply sunscreen
Try to wear a sun-protective shirt, and take it off when taking pictures

"The Cliffside Lights" of Chongqing, as Referred to by Locals 🏞️🏮
Chongqing, known for its mountainous terrain and vibrant city life, offers a magical experience after dark. The city's nightscape, often likened to "lights on a cliff" by locals, is a sight to behold.
Standing on Hongyadong, a historic riverside complex, you can immerse yourself in the unique beauty of Chongqing. The juxtaposition of ancient and modern, with traditional architecture blending harmoniously with modern skyscrapers, creates a mesmerizing scene. 🌃🏙️
As night falls, the city's lights illuminate the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, casting a picturesque reflection on the water. The sprawling cityscape, dotted with lights, seems to extend infinitely into the distance, creating a breathtaking panorama. 🌉🚢
Moreover, Chongqing's culinary scene comes alive at night. The city is renowned for its spicy Sichuan cuisine, and the streets are lined with food stalls offering a variety of local delicacies. Savoring hotpot or other regional dishes while surrounded by the city's bustling nightlife is an experience not to be missed. 🍲🌶️
Chongqing's mountain city nightscape is not just a visual delight; it also offers a glimpse into the city's vibrant culture and lifestyle. Whether you're exploring the bustling streets, enjoying a leisurely river cruise, or simply taking in the city's panoramic views, Chongqing's nightscape is sure to leave a lasting impression. 🚶♂️🚤

I miss you so much in Chongqing with my nanny-level strategies
I'm going to tell the truth, Chongqing is really a popular internet celebrity city, but there are still more or less some tourist traps. Based on real experiences, I'll help you avoid them💣
(Just go for it, there's nothing inconvenient)
💗 Itinerary 1️⃣ Recommendation
🗺️ Jiefangbei: Landmark check-in
🗺️ Bai Xiang Ju: Old-style residential building
🗺️ Raffles City: Cyberpunk style
🗺️ Daijiaxiang Trail: Hongya Cave photo spot + cliffside trail
🗺️ Hongya Cave: Representative of night view
💗 Itinerary 2️⃣ Recommendation
🗺️ Mountain City Trail: Characteristic trail, a miniature of Chongqing
🗺️ Shibati: Old street like in the movies
🗺️ Huguang Guild Hall: Ancient guild hall complex
🗺️ Liangjiang Ferry: Characteristic ferry
🗺️ Danzishi Old Street: Old street + night view
🗺️ Nanbin Road: Ceiling of night views
💗 Itinerary 3️⃣ Recommendation
🗺️ Graffiti Street: Art graffiti + Traffic Tea House + Xiao Bei Statue
🗺️ Chongqing Zoo: Many giant pandas
🗺️ Eling Second Factory: Cultural and creative district
🗺️ Liziba: Light rail passing through a building, you can also visit the nearby Xiaohuang Building
🗺️ Guanyinqiao: Distinctive business district (locals' favorite)
‼️ Things to note
☁️ Check the weather one or two days in advance, it was almost twenty degrees a few days ago and it was not cold at all in the sun, but it has cooled down recently
🌼 There are many places to enjoy flowers in Chongqing in spring: Chongqing Zoo, Banshan Cliff Line, Nanshan Botanical Garden, Garden Expo
🏨 Stay near Jiefangbei, very convenient!
🆓💡 There are many places to see night views in Chongqing for free, recommended Hongya Cave, Nanbin Road, Hong'en Temple, Mountain City Trail
🕳️ There is no fast track in Hongya Cave, no need to go inside
🗺️ If you want to visit the Three Gorges Museum, etc., it's closed on Mondays
🌉 The Yangtze River Cableway is by appointment on the same day, buy your ticket early. You can go to the South Station, which is less crowded than the North Station
🚢❗️❗️ The Two Rivers Cruise is not highly recommended, the ticket price is one or two hundred but the route is not much different from the Liangjiang Ferry, which only costs 15 yuan. The biggest difference is: Liangjiang Ferry does not have night shifts
🌃 If you want to have fun at night, Jiu Street has a rich nightlife
🍚🍜 Chongqing's food is generally spicy, those who prefer lighter meals should pay attention to their stomach health, the hot pot is very spicy
🍚🍜 Let's talk about food recommendations❗️
1️⃣ Jiefangbei He Ji Xing. Tiao Pi Dou Gan: Chongqing barbecue specialty, full of ingredients in one bite, both numbing and spicy
2️⃣ Jiefangbei Gui Su Meat: There are many people in line, crispy and crunchy, fried with pepper salt powder, really delicious
3️⃣ Chongqing Noodles: You should try the most authentic noodle soup when in Chongqing, it's really satisfying
4️⃣ Ba Dao Tang Hot Pot: The second-largest hot pot in Chongqing, many celebrities check-in, the spicy flavor is really addictive~

Chongqing - Photo Shooting Guide
Had a wonderful and relaxing weekend in Chongqing.
Two-day itinerary🌈
day1⃣️: Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street→Chongqing Zoo→Longmenhao Old Street→Jiefangbei→Hongyadong
day 2⃣️: Stroll around the nearby old community in the early morning to experience life, take photos📷 and look for community hot pot restaurants→Liziba→Eling Second Factory
🌝Actually, my itinerary is not rushed, I am more slow-paced, so you should play and check in according to your own situation.
Photo guide:
🌑Pic 2: "I'm in Chongqing" billboard - Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street Navigate to "Longhu Chongqing Beicheng Tianjie Southeast 1st Door", you will find it under the overpass, there is a downhill, the billboard shows about 2.3 minutes once, watch the time to capture, it only appears for a few seconds each time.
🌑Pic 3: "Guanyinqiao Poster Zebra Crossing" is also in Beicheng Tianjie, you can see it while strolling around, shoot on the second floor, or go to the third floor to shoot, if you bring a camera, you can have a magazine cover with a couple of shots!
🌑Pic 4: "Chongqing Zoo" This one is not so good to shoot, after all, the national treasure panda is still quite far away.
🌑Pic 5, 6: "Longmenhao Old Street" Changjiang Cableway, it's really not easy to get good shots on cloudy days, to be honest, the sun in Chongqing is really luxurious, I just shoot casually, walk and shoot.
🌑Pic 7-9: "Daijia Lane" and "Jiefangbei"
Had "Chunhong Hot Pot" near Daijia Lane in the evening, it's very spicy, but fragrant! As soon as I came out of the store, I saw the Cat and Mouse Wall, took a few simple shots, cute and good for photos.
Jiefangbei, avoid the crowd, turn on Apple's portrait mode, use the special effect dynamic blur of Xingtu in post-production - advanced editing, then erase the characters you want to keep. A little bit of retouching and you can get the picture!
🌑Pic 10: "Hongyadong" Just find those photographers shouting for photos at Hongyadong and let them take a few shots for you with a telephoto lens (if your photography skills are average, but you want to get the picture quickly), the little brother can also guide the action! No need to squeeze people, things that can be done with money.
🌑Pic 11-13: The sun came out that day, so I went out for a walk after getting up, strolling around the old community, the hotel is "Xinshan Hotel Chongqing Beibin Road", so I navigated to the nearby community hot pot restaurant, it's very delicious and cheap, and you can also stroll around the old community, feel the morning life, the pace is slow, and it's very comfortable.
🌑Pic 14: "Liziba" From Liziba No.1 to the direction of Eling Second Factory about a hundred meters you can see it, a bunch of people standing there looking up to take pictures, the street dressed like soldiers to find you to take pictures don't bother, 25 yuan.
🌑Pic 15-16: "Eling Second Factory" There are really too many people, a place where artistic young people gather to take pictures and check in, really can't compete for the venue. So I had afternoon tea there, tried "Weilu Boiling Tea", chatting and watching the tourists coming and going outside the window while drinking tea📷📷.

Mesmerised by the warmth of the lights…
Located bang in the centre of Chongqing, Hongya Cave is a real delight for the eyes!
I started at the top and made my way down the 9 levels to the riverfront where you can snap that famous picture of the place in its entirety.
There are a ton of vendors selling all sorts of food and drinks so i suggest arriving hungry 🤤
If you want a (slightly) more relaxed feel then you should visit during the week. At the weekend its extremely busy but in some ways that just adds to the experience of it all.

Hongyadong also named Hongya Gate before, which was one of the oldest gates in Chongqing in the past. It is located at Cangbai Road, which is the intersection riverside zone of the Yangtze River and the Jialing River. The incredible place has another name of “a stilted building on the cliff, and the old Chongqing in memories”. In the meanwhile, it is an eye-catching building community featured with Bayu culture.

Experience the Amazing Hongyadong via Cruise 🚢
Address - No. 88 Jialingjiangbinjiang Road Yuzhong
Ambiance/Facilities - Hongyadong is more than a place; it's an event! The light show on the buildings is majestic and awe-inspiring from the sightseeing platform, but go down approximately three stairs to grab a ticket and take the cruise across the river. The view is breathtaking from there and the ship has seating areas and snack shops to keep you comfortable. If you want, you can join the VIP area to get comfortable couches right next to the rails but you still have an amazing view from the general deck, along with seating and snacks.
Highlights - Chongqing proved itself with this magnificent feature. It's the only place I've visited that I'd actually return to instead of heading to other locations on my bucket list. The ride is nice across the river. You get a clear view of the buildings 🏫🏢 without getting other people in your shots. You get to see the bridge close up as the cruise ship travels right underneath it. It was fun watching other cruise ships pass and you could hear the cheerful sounds of passengers as we called out to each other. There are professional photographers offering their service along the platform before you get to the cruise. They charge 30 yuan for a photo. You can get good shots for yourself if you adjust your camera 📸🤳 to suit the lighting. Try to do that so you can get there most put of the view you'll see from the cruise.
Avg price per person: There are different options to choose from ranging from 88-198 yuan per person. My 3 year old daughter entered for free. VIP upgrade costs 80 yuan per person.
Rating: Definitely a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ star location. The best of Chongqing. #chongqing #hongyadong #cruise #tour

Hongyadong- Chongqing’s “Shiny Place”
Ah Chongqing!!!! Saw this place in a picture once, years ago & thought; It’s Lit. And lit it is, literally sand figuratively. The first time my friend and I saw it from a distance we called it the Shiny Place. Hongyadong adds to Chongqing’s already unreal cyberpunk city distinction. There is tons to see and do here from the walk-abouts, someone foretelling your future in a language you don’t understand, to quaint live music pubs. Locals were friendly too which made for quite the memorable experience. It is top 3 things to set your eyes on when you go gallivanting into the big CQ!

Enjoy the closeness with humanity
The place is not only an engineering marvel where they converted a cave into a shopping complex as if it wasn't enough they provided a waterfall... you know just in case it wasn't enough. The place really lits up at night and while traveling up or down the cave or even below at the riverside to take a picture of this marvel you will feel the humanity so close to you.. I meant literally

Bright lights, small city.
This area is often advertised as one of the top 10 things to see in Chongqing. Is it worth it? YES! Is it also one of those places that attracts the hundreds of local and foreign tourists from the whole of Chongqing? Also yes. Be aware that the later you go the more people will come and it will be more than impossible to get through the crowds. My partner and I spent an afternoon at the sky bar in the intercontinental hotel and waited for the lights to come on before taking a short 15 minute walk to this hot photographer spot. We got here around 8:30pm and it was busy by this time already. There are lots of people asking you if you want to buy photos and flowers and the walkway to view this site is actually quite small. Recommended time to go will be just after sunset! Please do not drive or get a taxi late, as the road becomes congested and it will be impossible to leave. #passionpassport #china #gooutside #cityscapes #awesomepic
