If you think the white cliffs of England are too far away, then head to Hulunbuir for a trip
It was not until I visited Hulunbuir myself that I truly witnessed the end of the grassland being the sea, with a sense of magic that transcends reality, as if stepping into the world of Zelda.
Hulunbuir is not only home to the endless grasslands, herds of cattle and sheep, and galloping horses, but also skies like those in Miyazaki's anime, and you can even see the sea at the end of the grassland.
📍Genghis Khan Horse-Tying Post
🚗 1.5 hours' drive from Manzhouli
☁️ It is recommended to visit on a sunny day for better photography, as the effect on a cloudy day can be poor.

On this prairie sea, I captured the photo of my life
On this prairie sea, I captured the photo of my life‼️
This is not the White Cliffs of Dover in England
Nor is it a comic
And it's definitely not AI-generated‼️
This is the real 'ocean' of Hulunbuir that exists in reality
On this prairie
It's as if following Captain Jack from Pirates of the Caribbean⛵️
I've come to the end of the world
The difference is that the edge here is an endless expanse of grassland
·
Right on the western shore of Lake Hulun in Hulunbuir
In this place tens of kilometers away from the city district
The cliffs surrounded by water on three sides
I've arrived at the world's end of my dreams
If you have a drone
You could capture the amazing scene where the 'sea'🌊 meets the grassland
·

It is said that this place is named after Genghis Khan once trained his troops and horses🐎 here, standing on the same prairie as Genghis Khan is also a kind of fate
Here, you can see the most beautiful twilight and sunset🌅

Where to go for a holiday? Genghis Khan's horse tethering post
Genghis Khan's horse tethering post
📍Detailed address:
Located on the west bank of Hulun Lake, 38 kilometers northeast of the town center, and 88 kilometers from Manzhouli City, it is a cliff surrounded by water on three sides.
🌟Highlights:
To the south, there is a lake of clear water, with steep and rugged cliffs, smooth as if cut by a knife; to the north and east, there are steep slopes leading down to the bay; only the west side has a gentle slope that connects to the lakeshore. On the top of the mountain, there is a pavilion, and in the lake water about 10 meters to the east of the cliff, there stands an irregularly shaped columnar stone about 10 meters high and with a circumference of about 20 meters. The stone is irregular in shape, thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom, with striations crisscrossing. Bird nests are built in the crevices of the stone, and from time to time, water birds fly out and circle over the lake.

I flew all this way just to see the sea at the edge of the grassland
Once again, when will you go with me to see the sea at the edge of the grassland?
This is not abroad! Not the white cliffs of England! This is a niche scene that 99% of people who travel to Hulunbuir don't know about, and only discover upon arrival that Hulunbuir is actually a coastal city😂 The end of the land has such a real-life Zelda scene!
I love the quiet and tranquil atmosphere here, it has a sense of solitude and wilderness that feels like a movie. During my trip to Hulunbuir, I went twice, to see both the sunset and sunrise🌅, both were dreamily beautiful. If you only have one chance, I recommend choosing a day with good weather to watch a sunset.

Hulun Lake, meet the 'sea' at the end of the grassland!
In Inner Mongolia, there is a vast grassland, fat cattle and sheep, and even such a vast and vast Hulun Lake like the sea! Really love it!

Genghis Khan's horse tethering stake\The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the key point is that it's free
Genghis Khan's horse tethering stake is located on the west bank of Hulun Lake, 38 kilometers northeast of the town, 88 kilometers from Manzhouli City, and is a cliff surrounded by water on three sides.
I followed a small travel group, and the original plan did not include this place. Later, I opened a book in the car and saw this scenic spot recommended. The photos looked pretty beautiful. After discussing with everyone in the car, we all agreed, so we asked the driver to take us there, round trip for more than 3 hours, and gave the driver an extra 200 yuan for the car fare.
We arrived here just after 4 pm, and at first glance, I was really amazed by the scenery, it's too beautiful. The book did not lie to me, and the key point is that it's a free scenic spot.
I took a lot of photos here, and around 6 o'clock the sun began to set, and we just finished watching the sunset and returned.
※Warm tips:
1、There are no toilets here, so if you have to go, you'll have to find a way to solve it.
2、There is no public transportation to get there, so you can either drive yourself or join a group.
Overall feeling: The scenery is so beautiful!! Highly recommend going once!!!
