#viana’sjourney
After reaching Conpehagen, I took a train from the same airport to Malmo, about 30 minutes ride, I arrive at this small town which were so calm. First thing I noticed was, there’s a lot of Arab’s restaurant and stall over here, easy for fellow muslim to find halal food. I visited Pildammsprken (leisure park) and the sauna house (both male and female can share the sauna place and many were fully without clothing, dont be surprise). Not to forget around the city where they have some big churches, (very elegant looking building everywhere). But, if you plan to visit, spring are the best time, you can see the canola flowers bloom in Skane and it’s definitely mesmerizing!
Sweden🇸🇪 Malmö City Library-a literary youth style check-in point
#2023Travel wish
I’ll finish my trip to Northern Europe at the end of this year and hope to travel to South Korea next year!
The Malmö City Library looks like a museum on the outside, and like a bookstore on the inside. The design is quite modern, with many comfortable reading spaces and ergonomic chairs that make people want to sit down and rest.
After a renovation in the late 1990s, more than one million people visit the library every year. The Stadsbibliotek is considered one of the coolest architectural libraries in the world and it has two distinct sections; the Castle and the Calendar of Light. The castle is the historical part of the library, and the Light Calendar, designed by Danish architect Henning Larsen, is a large cubic building with glass windows facing the park, allowing a lot of light to pass through.

A moment in Malmo …..🇸🇪
I took a ferry from Rostock Germany to trelleborg Sweden arriving in central station Malmo, I booked a single room at moment hotels conveniently right opposite the station which was ideal as it was late , check in was easy and friendly too!
The hotel it’s self was very Swedish ikea looking and modern , clean , bright and very affordable .
I was only staying one night but I did check out the centre of Malmo , great shops and restaurants and managed to find a H&M in the square ….
Would definitely recommend this hotel if in Malmo👍👍
Malmo in Fall
It was towards the end of Septemper and last Fall before Covid happened and cities started locking down. I had the privilege to have the chance to visit this quaint and charming Scandinavian town at the southern tip, connecting Sweden to Copenhagen, Denmark via the Oresund, the city of Malmo.
In contrast to the more tourist frequented capital, Stockholm with it bright colored and upbeat atmosphere, the mood in Malmo was very relaxed. The old town had a bohemian vibe, with its cobbled stone streets, red brick churches and fortress and houses.
The open air plaza with its array of shops and markets, as well as restaurants and bars also added to the more carefree mood, made more possible by the foliage and the temperate weather perfect for the outdoors brought by the Autumn breeze.

Malmo 😍
such a beautiful chilled out place, a lot to see and do with amazing food and bars. a slower pace of life is definitely appreciated in a city like this and is so refreshing compared to normal life back here at home. I would recommend everyone to go at least once and make sure you take a walk along the river and around the coast at night. don’t try the salted liquorice though 😝#sweden #malmo
From Copenhagen to Malmo
#bucketlistreboot
Take a trip to Malmö, Sweden. Did you know you can go from Copenhagen to Malmö in Sweden in less than an hour? Yes, you can get the train from København H (Copenhagen Central Station) which is every 20 minutes and the travel time is only 35 minutes to the centre of Malmö. Nice and easy! This way, you also get to see/be on Øresund Bridge – a combined railway and motorway bridge across the Øresund strait between Denmark and Sweden. Basically one country wanted a bridge and the other wanted a tunnel, so they made the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe (nearly 8km long).

Day trip to Malmö!
In March we took a day trip from Copenhagen to Malmö, Sweden.
After picking up a tourist map of the City of Copenhagen, I realised how close we were to Sweden and decided to check flix bus on the off chance they ran between the two countries - which they did and it would only take 1h15!
We booked out £8 return buses for the next day and set off to Explore the Swedish City of Malmö.
We spent half a day in the pretty Scandinavian city, enjoyed some DELICIOUS authentic Swedish meatballs and some local beers and explored the canals and design shops.
In the evening we walked back to the bus departure station and were driven back to Copenhagen as the sun set.
If you’re going to Copenhagen I recommend doing this! Was a cheap and fun way to tick another country off the list!

Isn't it comfortable? The farm life in Malmo, Sweden
The farm life in Malmo, Sweden. Looking at these shots, it's definitely not just about recording the houses and trees on the farm. Different breeds of chickens and sheep are the main characters here. Who said the place is big enough? In fact, it's very large, as far as the eye can see, it's all one big yard, it's just that the dark red warehouses scattered around have different functions. The cats here only take care of being pets and catching mice, they don't care about anything else. The chickens here only lay eggs, we don't know about the rest. In short, anything that can move here, the main theme is freedom.
TranscontinentalJourneys*88 Lund and Malmo day trip
We started our trip from Copenhagen H to Lund, visited the Lund Cathedral and visited the Open air Museum ( old houses) then we took the train to Malmo, which we visited the Malmo Castle which was a bit underwhelming … it is definitely not as grand as the ones I saw in Copenhagen, but the museum also includes science, arts, and an aquarium, there’s a variety of exhibitions in there. After that., we went for the disgusting food museum where we tried many disgusting food 🙈🙈 , I’m sure you won’t regret it !!! At the end we had Swedish meatballs at bullen, it’s the bestttttr meatballs I’ve ever hadddd, strongly recommend!!!!!!!

amazing architecture in Malmö, Sweden
Modern meets Traditional
Malmo Library is a place you should definitely visit.
The architecture is so beautiful. A combination of both old and nee building together.
Most books are mainly in Swedish, but there are English books too!
The library is so much bigger than I expected, there are many good instagram worthy spots too. Slowly explore and appreciate the library as a whole, you will not be disappointed!
Best meatballs in Malmö
Address - Storgatan 35, 211 41 Malmö, Sweden
Ambiance/Facilities -
Highlights - Best Meatballs in Malmö
Avg. Price per Person - 400 SEK
Rating - 9
This is one of the best traditional meatballs you will find in Malmö. Not the cheapest but I would say absolutely worthwhile. Meatballs topped with Cranberry sauce couldn't be better alongside a mug of lager.
Staffs were absolutely friendly.
I thought Malmö will be just a stopover for me, but actually the town has much to offer. From the castle, across the park, the twisted tower skyscraper and the Oresund bridge nearby. Also there were many canals and some small bridges. Actually it was my first time in Sweden and I really enjoyed the place.
