Mannyeong Bridge: A Cultural Gem in Changnyeong

Located in Dong-ri, Yeongsan-myeon, Changnyeong-gun, Mannyeong Bridge, also known as "Wondari," is a unique structure built by hand, with each stone carefully stacked by people. Traditionally, during the full moon, locals would walk back and forth across the bridge according to their age, believing it would strengthen the bridge. I fondly remember holding my mother’s hand and doing the same, as did many in the neighborhood. Today, Mannyeong Bridge has become a popular photo spot for tourists, especially in autumn when the leaves turn a vibrant yellow, creating a picturesque backdrop. Miryang: A Fall Destination Worth Visiting Every Year

Miryang is renowned for its stunning autumn leaves and breathtaking mountain scenery. The picturesque views, with the zodiac statues lining the roadside and Miryang Lake flowing behind them, create a perfect backdrop for a fall getaway. Instead of just taking pictures, I recommend immersing yourself in the beauty of the surroundings and appreciating the vibrant colors of the season. One of the highlights of Miryang is Baenaegol, often referred to as the "Miryang Alps." This area is especially beautiful when the autumn leaves are at their peak. Jinhae Marine Park

#koreatrip Jinhae Marine Park is another good leisure option here in South Korea. Located a few kilometers from Busan, this place has a marine museum, a destroyer museum, a large aquarium, and two large observation towers. One of them is a restaurant and to enjoy the view from the top, you need to reserve a table in advance. The other, larger one, we were unable to visit as it was closed to visitors, which was a great frustration, as this tower is the biggest attraction of the place. Parking is private and there is a small fee for visiting. The island has stunning views and I recommend coming in the afternoon to enjoy the Korean sunset. What to eat in Gimhae: sujebi 🥢

Sujebi is a handpulled dough soup noodle soup. This is one of my Korean comfort food favorite. Tried the one in this locals’ favorite restaurant in Gimhae. Priced at ₩ 7.500, the portion is quite big for me. The fresh seafood in the bowl is the highlight for me. The Aramaru Aquarium

#koreatrip It is the fifth largest aquarium in Korea, and you can see a variety of marine life, such as a replica of the underwater ecosystem, a rare animal called shoebill, a descendant of dinosaurs, a very large hippopotamus known as 'Hasik', an albino sturgeon, otters, beavers, and seals. I was able to watch it with my child this time. Most programs are run on weekends, but Sacheon Aramaru is a great place to visit even on weekdays as it runs various ecological programs on weekdays as well.

The Jinju Rail Bike

#koreatrip Nice experience for tourism, you can bike through the old railway and enjoy the view. I come when the spring is almost over so there are not much flowers, so It would be nice if you come during the spring, so the flowers would bloom beautifully. The surroundings were decorated in a cute way, but it felt simple, and the rail bike that rattled in the river breeze and made the sound of a train was charming. There was a cup holder next to the chair, so it was nice to ride while drinking a cup of tea, and a slightly bland coffee was sold at the ticket office for 2,000 won.

The Jinyangho Zoo 진양호동물원

#koreatrip I'm in Jinju, a City of South Korea. Staying at Asia Lake Side Hotel . I was roaming around and found a beautiful zoo in the locality. It was a great experience. Small but well maintained local zoo. Admission is only 1000won, and free for kids below 6. They have a decent collection of animals including tigers, bears, and monkeys. We love here and visit every time we visit my parents in Jinju.

Chokseongnu Pavilion

#koreatrip Historical place, still relax and cozy park. Few entrance fee for all day long-can get in and get out freely. You can feel something historical and make your mood calm down. There is a very nice historical museum inside the Jinju fortress feasuring the Junju fortress defense against the Japan invasion in 16th century and how Chosun and Japan has been connected again after the that 7-year war.

Sacheon Rainbow Coast Road 사천 무지개 해안도로

#koreatrip A great place to enjoy the sunset while taking a quiet walk. It's nice to have ample parking space. Because it is a place where sea water passes, you can see the mudflats when the water goes down. A great place for a walk. It's also nice to walk along the coastal promenade looking at the beautiful scenery of the Dadohae Sea, have a cup of tea at a cafe with a nice view, and even though it's tiring, keep walking and watch a movie at a movie theater with a view of the sea.

Jinyangho Zoo

#koreatrip Small but well maintained local zoo. Admission is only 1000won, and free for kids below 6. They have a decent collection of animals including tigers, bears, and monkeys. We love here and visit every time we visit my parents in Jinju. Nice peaceful zoo with scenic views. Not many animals however basic ones are there. Feeding is possible, take some vegetables and fruits. Recommend to visit zoo during cherry blossom time to add more remarkable family pictures.

It's also nice to walk along the coastal promenade looking at the beautiful scenery of the Dadohae Sea, have a cup of tea at a cafe with a nice view, and even though it's tiring, keep walking and watch a movie at a movie theater with a view of the sea. Delicous food, nice view, center position, warm welcome, and cheap. After having meal, you can take a short rest.

Bito Camping Ground

#koreatrip It is a quiet and cozy camping site. There is no public transportation, but most people who come camping have a car, so it is not a big problem. Since we share the Byeoljubujeon theme park parking lot, parking is not a problem, and since we operate an electric cart, you can easily move your luggage. Sarit is also very comfortable, so I think you can pitch a tent for up to 10 people. The campsite is located on the coast, so the scenery is beautiful. I think this is the best camping site, especially for those who come as a family.

Bamboo forest of Geoje Island

9km 4hours winter hike from Gucheondong Village to Hyangjeokbong peak, Deogyusan National Park, Muju, South Korea. Walking along the stream on a pave road while enjoying a different figure water falls all the way to Baengnyeonsa Temple, one of the oldest and spiritual temple in North Jeolla, South Korea.
