Battlefield turned Park on a Hill

Kent Ridge Park has a rich history behind it as it used to be one of the battlefields during World War II, where one of the last and fiercest fights had occurred. The entrance to the park is not easy to find, however there are signs which you can follow that will lead you to the park from Kent Ridge mrt station. Expect some turns and gradually go up the slopes before reaching the top. While you are at it, take in the serenity and fresh air. Take a break and be rewarded with views of the sea and the cargoes from far upon arriving at the top, and take a moment to appreciate the valiant efforts of the soldiers who fought for the nation. #localhistory
