Yalong Bay's best sea view, top tropical rainforest garden, Sheraton Sanya Resort

When the giant Christmas tree lights up again in the center of Yalong Bay, Santa Claus arrives on a small train to distribute candy to people from all over the world, and the aroma of mulled wine and the joyful atmosphere fill the entire lobby. This is the 21st Christmas lighting ceremony at Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay Resort, and the second year in a row that I have attended. As the first international five-star hotel in Sanya, it has remained as brilliant as ever over the past two decades. Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay Resort's Southeast Asian tropical garden is one of the best in Sanya, and one of my favorites. The garden was designed by Bill Bensley, a master of garden design who is well-versed in East Asian culture. He skillfully integrated the architecture and five outdoor swimming pools into the lush tropical garden, transforming the hotel into a natural botanical garden and a seaside water park. From the balcony of the guest room, the view from the hotel's swimming pool to the garden to the beach is full of aesthetic extension, and the longing for the sea is perfectly realized. If you are in this garden, it is another kind of exploration. The communication between the swimming pool and the sea is like the whispering between girlfriends. Tall and lush tropical trees form a giant green umbrella, and the mottled sunlight leaks through the leaves, casting a golden glow on the ground. Colorful flowers bloom wantonly around you. At this time, you can stroll to the beach chair to enjoy the breeze, watching everyone passing by tell their stories to the sea. This is how a vacation in Sanya should be: lazy and casual. Or you can go to the lobby bar to taste the sweetness and coolness of Haagen-Dazs afternoon tea, which is also very pleasant. At Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay Resort, the most romantic time is in the evening. The shy sunset, live performances by Los Panchitos, and refreshing beer make me indulge in the intoxicating evening breeze. The Hainan-style seafood hot pot and barbecue buffet dinner on the seaside lawn is also said to be the closest buffet to the sea in Sanya. The four types of soup bases, including mushroom soup, Hainan vinegar, chicken soup, and spicy soup, can satisfy different appetites, and the signature Chef Li's roast chicken is also a must-try delicacy. Food has always been the calling card of Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay Resort, especially the Chinese cuisine at Baiyun Chinese Restaurant, which combines fresh Hainan ingredients and Qiongzhou food culture to create a variety of flavors. In addition, I have a little secret to share: the breakfast here has my favorite poached eggs and melt-in-your-mouth tofu pudding, which you must try.
