The small town of Piran dives headfirst into the Adriatic Sea

Piran, a small town on the southwest coast of Slovenia, is a very famous Mediterranean tourist spot, known as Little Venice. It is about 100 kilometers from the capital Ljubljana and can only be reached by bus in about 3 hours as there is no train service. The beautiful Piran, like a red boat plunging into the sea, faces the endless ocean, with Croatia on the left and Italy on the right. The cape that juts into the sea is the perfect spot to sit in the evening and wait to watch the most beautiful Mediterranean sunset. The famous Italian violinist and composer Tartini was born here; in the early days, Piran was part of Venice. His piece 'Devil's Trill' is world-renowned, with a high level of difficulty, making it a must-play for every violinist to test their skills. Piran is immensely proud of this great musician who grew up here, and a statue of Tartini has been erected in the town's central square, becoming a place of pilgrimage for everyone who visits Piran.
