Munich Residenz

I visited the Munich Residenz during an overnight stay in Munich for a layover. Tickets were available for purchase on-site, but there can be long lines depending on the time of day. Even small bags need to be checked in for the tour. I used my smartphone and borrowed an audio guide for the visit. The audio guide had a comprehensive Japanese option, providing detailed explanations of the exhibits and items inside. The most famous corridor in the Munich Residenz featured beautiful murals from the ceiling to every corner. Although there were many tourists inside, everyone was listening to the audio guide while moving around, so it didn't feel overly crowded.
