Dream under the cloud, Longji Terraced Field in Guilin, Guangxi

The mountain is the dragon's ridge, and the field is the ladder in the cloud. Longji Terraced Field, located in Longji Mountain, Ping'an Village, Ping'an Township, Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County, Guangxi, was started in the Yuan Dynasty and completed in the early Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 650 years and is one of the twenty first-class scenic spots in Guangxi. The Longji Terraced Field scenic area is very large, mainly three terraced fields, Jinkeng Dazhai Terraced Field, Ping'an Village Terraced Field and Ancient Zhuang Village Terraced Field. Its terraced fields are distributed between 300 meters and 1100 meters above sea level, with a maximum slope of 50 degrees. The terraces extend from the foot of the mountain to the top, layer by layer, stack by stack, poetic and picturesque, and beautiful. Each level has different heights and colors, like the notes of the earth, playing a harmonious and magnificent movement. In the center of the terraced fields, houses stand quietly there, they are the guardians of this golden world, and the symbol of farming culture.
