Worship the sage Zhuangzi

Yue Lu Mountain scenic area is located to the east of Lintao County, named after the Dongyue Temple built on the mountain during the Song Dynasty, which has a history of over a thousand years. The mountain is dotted with pavilions, terraces, and towers, with lush flowers, plants, and trees, and its tourism resources include biological landscapes, ancient architectural relics, and Zhuangzi culture. It is said that at the end of the Spring and Autumn period, Laozi, seeing the decline of the Zhou Dynasty, left Hangu Pass, passed through Sanguan, and came to Yue Lu Mountain in Lintao to preach and teach the scriptures. After Laozi's ascension, people built temples and statues at the place where he taught, and every year during the Taishan Temple Fair on the 28th day of the third lunar month, the people of Lintao hold grand commemorative activities to worship the sage Laozi.
