Kyoto during the autumn foliage

Kyoto is a city that can be explored in just one day, and this is especially true during the autumn foliage season when there are many spots to see the red maple leaves. We visited in early November 2023, but unfortunately, the leaves were changing color slowly. However, we did see some beautiful scenery along the Kamo River. Another great spot to view the foliage is at Kiyomizu Temple, where there are many maple trees. If you're visiting during the autumn foliage season, make sure to check in at Kyoto. It takes about 1 hour to travel from Osaka.
