Pingshou Island weekend travelogue

Peng Chau Island is a small island located in the eastern part of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. From Central to Lantau Island, there are several ferries that pass through the island towards Mui Wo. In addition, there are also hovercrafts that go directly to Mui Wo and connect with the island. Because there are no beaches or tourist attractions, there are hardly any vacationers visiting the island. Therefore, it is exceptionally quiet. On the west side of the island, there is a ferry terminal that comes from Hong Kong Island. Near the terminal, there is the only shopping street on the island, which is very narrow and can only accommodate two people walking side by side. It is about 500 meters long and both sides are meat shops and grocery stores. People who want to experience the local atmosphere can take a walk there. There is a small Tin Hau Temple in the middle of the street. There is no complete restaurant on the island, so it is difficult to find a place to eat. However, you can buy some fish from the fishermen at the pier on the way to the Hei-Tak Community and enjoy them at Sun Kwong Restaurant. On the island, there is a 200-year-old Tin Hau Temple and a romantic fishing port. Here, you can appreciate the scenery, enjoy nature, and experience a unique flavor.
