Underrated Piece of Heaven 🌳🛶🦢✨

#thisischina Holy Moly, I’ve been lots of places in the city and I can tell you that this is such an UNDERRATED piece of heaven located in the south-east of Hangzhou 😍 I was in awe at this picturesque place. Xianghu is known as the sister lake of West Lake. Everything surrounding the lake was incredibly stunning! Lush green plants, flowers, sporadic pavilions, bridges and the mountains! The scenic area is huge! What to do at XiangHu 👇🏼 ➡️ Walk around the lake and over the bridges to explore different corners 🌳🕊💐 ➡️ A boat ride on the lake 🛶 As the lake is big, a boat ride allows you to have a look at different parts surrounding the lake 🤗✨ ➡️ Have a picnic 🧺 I saw many people having picnics, some had tents set up and others were chilling on their mats by the lake while snacking. ➡️ Take pictures 📸 Unlimited opportunities to have great photos there! 💐🌿🌼🍃 ➡️ Fly a kite 🪁 I saw kids having fun flying theirs. ➡️ Ride a bike around the lake! 🚲 It wasn’t easy to spot shared bikes around but some people were enjoying it especially on a warm sunny day! The scenic views are worth it💚 How to go ➡️ Xianghu 湘湖 is the south terminal station of metro 🚇 line 1. Then, take a taxi for about 10 mins to the lake.
