🇨🇭 Picturesque Gunten Pier @ Lake Thun

Gunten Pier is one of the most beautiful piers that I have been to. The pier offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the lake, and is a popular spot for boat cruises, fishing, and relaxation. We found this hidden gem by chance after visiting the Panorama bridge Sigriswil as we wanted to try the ferry ride on Lake Thun, the largest lake in the Bernese Oberland. We took bus 25 from Sigriswil and alighted at Gunten Dorf. The pier is a short walk away from the bus stop. It can also be reached by taking bus 25 from Thun or bus 21 from either Interlaken or Thun train station. Check the ferry schedule in advance.
