Living in Seoul had the best of both words. You can enjoy all the cheap street food and alcohol galore. You can also take the subway to Gangnam, one of the most affluent districts in the city. There is a street lined with designer stores that make you feel poor just glancing at them. If you can't afford the designer handbag, no problem. You can definitely afford the Dior afternoon tea. At about 50,000KRW per person, enjoy a brunch, delectable tower of sweets, and a coffee or tea of your choice. I highly recommend getting the Dior monogrammed cappuccino. It completes the experience.
