Speakeasy bars in Edinburgh

Ever heard of a speakeasy? Speakeasy is a concept modeled after prohibition times, where sale of alcohol had been banned. Although liquor is no longer banned, many bars continue to follow this “secret bar” concept. ✨ Very often, you’ll find a speakeasy in the most inconspicuous place: behind a book shelf, underground beside a tarot reading machine, or even a quiet street. Some of my favorites in Edinburgh are Hoot the Reedemer and Panda & Sons! The drinks are often special, delicious and can only be found at this different bars. 👌🏼 Voodoo rooms is another amazingly gorgeous bar, although not so much a speakeasy.
