This courtyard was built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu, listed as a cultural relic protection unit in 2016, and redesigned in 2017. The design of Huaixuan follows the traditional symmetrical layout of a courtyard, retaining traditional elements such as the Ruyi Gate, inner and outer shadow walls, and some brick carvings, while incorporating modern design concepts to form a unique style that combines classical and modern elements. The design of Huaixuan is inspired by the Chinese traditional cultural symbol "Chi Yin" and the natural beauty of ginkgo trees and leaves. The entire building is like a reading paradise under the trees in the mountains, with the winding "valley lobby", towering "mountains", and columns like a ginkgo forest, creating a quiet and poetic reading space.
