Taking the bus to Sangdang Mountain Fortress, you need to climb a small slope to reach it. From a distance, you can see the South Gate, which is also a popular filming location for many movies. The entire mountain fortress is very large, and the pavilions and gates are brightly colored. I recommend taking photos from the gate's entrance for stunning pictures. Many people also come here for hiking. We only visited the gate and then left, but if you have time, you should explore the entire area. It looks quite vast!

I first wanted to try it out when I saw the Cheongju steam room coffee shop cafe mokgan! It’s so much fun to put your food in a small wooden basin, then go to an authentic sauna and enjoy it anywhere you like. Originally this was a sauna. The faucets and shower heads are still there, and you can enter the bath to enjoy your meals. Towels are even provided on site, and the original oven has been converted into a private room. The whole atmosphere is perfect. It must have taken me an hour to take pictures here hahahaha When ordering, I nervously told the boss that I wanted to order eggs, because I felt that the photo would look good only with coffee and eggs in the small wooden barrel. Unexpectedly, the boss said that eggs would be included when ordering drinks, hahahaha, and he also gave me popcorn 🍿 The whole set looks super good in the photo❤️The location is on Cheng'an Street, next to tag one coffee shop. Not far from the city center, Yangnim Cultural Cafe is where we headed by taxi. Downloading the Kao Taxi app was very convenient, and we smoothly arrived at this Hanok-style cafe. Entering from a slope into the underground space, it splits into two sections: one side is the cafe, and the other is the library. The library has three floors, each with a corridor where you can take photos and enjoy the scenery. Initially, we didn't know and obediently finished eating at the cafe before heading to the library. Later, we found out you can also eat in the library 😂😂. We saw many locals bringing their own lunch boxes to read or work here. The environment is truly serene and comfortable. We spent two hours here and didn't want to leave. Remember not to miss this spot when you're in Cheongju!

It's quite convenient to take a bus from the city center. There weren't many people along the way, making it feel like we had the entire mural village to ourselves. Each alley has some unique designs, making it fun to explore. The mural village also has a coffee street with many unique cafes to choose from. We visited a Jeju-style cafe that day, and there were many other great-looking ones. We can try a different one next time ❤️

Almond Villa 2B room has 2 spacious queen beds. And there are 2 outlets between the beds, so I can charge my phone before going to bed and sleep comfortably! There is a closet with a hidden TV in front of the bed, and there are mirrors on both sides, so I put on makeup in the morning while looking at these mirrors in bed. I wish there was a full-length mirror, though🥹 And there is a hair dryer and a flat iron. It is a mini iron, but it is good for a simple hair treatment when traveling!
