Fantastic hotel, superbly clean, friendly staff, great room and an amazing breakfast - all for a very reasonable price - we will most certainly return to this hotel on future Bergen trips.

Conveniently located Minutes to railway station and near to the tourist information where most tours begin. Kitchen has oven. fridge, toaster and kettle so it’s easy to make your hot drinks and heat up food. It’s got comfortable seating as well. Room only has one type of universal shampoo/body wash so recommended to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and conditioner. Just opposite is the supermarket so it’s really convenient. Airport to hotel uber was about 660noks.

Excellent hotel if you have a late arrival or early morning flight. It’s a 2 minute walk to the airport, staff are friendly, and rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast starts around 4am I believe which is super convenient if you have an early flight!

Good location 4-5min walking distance to Bergen station. 20min walking distance to Bryggen. Well breakfast services with many food choices and nice dining space.

Overall, wanted a hotel chain that was not involved in anything controversial and had good sustainability records. This hotel was authentic and built in the early 20th century and best of all had Scandinavian/Norway roots which is what I was looking for! The hotel was in an excellent location in a city centre and it was easy to walk everywhere, the train station, the taxi from the airport dropped us off right outside the hotel, the funicular and museums and wharf were all within 10-15 minutes away. Many shops and restaurants are nearby too. The breakfast was good, a range of fresh jam and the bread was of good standards. They had a nice cinnamon bun and waffle, so it was good to try their authentic snacks. They had melon and fruits as well with a selection of cheese, I liked their brown cheese the best personally. The welcoming hotel lady 'upgraded' us to a nice room with a view of the Bryggen Wharf and beautiful mountains, quite similar to the view you would find in the breakfast room too. It was a clean, spacious room with soft bedding which made it a comfortable stay. There was some noise from the main road which the reception warned us about as it is close to the night activities but thanks to the blacked out curtains and our deep sleep we didn't get affected by it. We had the option to change if we wanted but we were happy with it. The only downside I would say is the singles beds were together for the room as we thought it was double but it was very comfortable though and we had a good sleep. If it was stapled together it might be better so it doesn't move when in the edges. All in all, a friendly hotel in a perfect location.

The hotel seems a little run down. I read through comments on here before booking and someone mentioned a hole in the tile in the bathroom and hotel management responded saying maintenance would be called. This comment was a couple of years ago and the hole is still there. I was in the annex building which is definitely more dilapidated. Maybe invest some of the money back into the hotel? Also the guests in the room next to mine were having a party but the staff shut it down after speaking with them. I’ve stayed in a about 12 hotels in the last five weeks traveling around Europe and this hotel is very close to the bottom of the list which is surprising as I expected more from the Norway leg of my journey. The staff were very friendly though, it’s just a shame the hotel management doesn’t utilize their profits for the benefit of the hotel and staff.

We got a room facing the fjords and the view was chef kiss. The room was comfy, and I personally enjoyed the amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice. We had a succulent dinner at Ægir Microbrewery, and I enjoyed their beer too. They are nice for a wet winter night, and I am sure they will be even better during summer days.

A beautiful hotel with its own edge. Situated in front of the fjord and next to the mountains. Great spread of breakfast and self-service laundry available, which was great because we were travelling long.

The hotel is located near the train station, which is convenient for traveling by train. If you drive, you need to park in the paid parking lot. The hotel is in a good environment, the lake opposite is very beautiful, and it is shrouded in clouds and mist in the morning. The hotel breakfast is rich!

The prices for superior rooms are not much different. There is a refrigerator, the area is 23 square meters, it is reasonable and comfortable, and there is a Flybussen airport bus stop in front of the hotel. Located in the city center, it is convenient to travel and is very close to the top of Floyen Mountain. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel where you can buy alcohol.

This place is approximately four minutes walk from the Danmarks plass station which I found to be really convenient. The check-in and check-out process was fast and convenient. The place also has a restaurant (Jaya) in case you need to eat

The hotel concept is nice flashy & flirty for youngsters. Impressed !! Room was nice but bathroom was cold no insulation like other hotels. Water in the bathroom was not consistent sometimes it just becomes cold. Cleaning of room was not that great. Plastic glass jn the toilet never changed in 3 days we stayed Hotel restaurant was good. Food very slow

The service staff are friendly and kind. The room is spacious and the breakfast is pretty good. The location is moderate, about 15 minutes' walk from the city center and various attractions. There are also several supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient.

The hotel is right opposite the station, very convenient. I stayed in a room facing the lake and had a small balcony. The scenery from there was very beautiful. My friends who were traveling with me originally stayed in a room facing the mountain. After coordinating with the service staff, they helped them change to a room facing the lake. The service quality was very good!

A hotel with great connotation and history. The hotel is very impressive inside. The facilities in the rooms are a bit old and the elevators are very classic, but everything can be made up for because staying here gives you a feeling of traveling back in time. The hotel is also very considerate for children. There is a small ladder

It was quite new resorts next to the ski center Long waiting at check-in due to only reception on the phone for 20min. Finally get help from the service desk next door. Excellent Service from Waiter & Waitress inside the Restaurant. Will want to stay again.

The hotel is fantastic! Staff Very kind and genuine. Made me feel welcome right away with a big smile and make sure everything is all right. Amenities There is access to a full kitchen. The share toilet and shower were always clean. Rooms The beds are very comfortable and the duvet makes it feels as you sleep on a cloud. Location It is one train station away from Voss Sentrum. The area around the hotel is very peaceful and quiet. Decor I loved all the objects on display in the hallway and the rooms. It looks like a museum! Café There is a very cozy coffee downstairs to watch tv or warm up by the wood fire. They have cakes, donuts coffee... I absolutely want to go there again. When I go back to Norway that place is where I want to be!!!
