Japanese hospitality has always been good. This hotel is next to the JR Miyazaki station. There is no direct link access but it is very near with sheltered walkway. Similar to other JR hotels, there the luggage storage area. Lobby is at level 8. Our room is spacious and good for couples or families with multiple large luggage.

None of them spoke much English and I don't speak any Japanese. The only disappointment was that I asked them to call a store to confirm something on my behalf and they refused. They were not busy at the time and it would have taken all of two minutes to assist me with that. Breakfast was pretty basic, but good and filling.

In terms of location, it's about a 20-minute walk from Miyazaki Station, but it's also close to Nishimachi, the downtown area in the center of Miyazaki city, about a 10-minute walk away, so it's not particularly inconvenient. It's right by the Sea with so much activities that it's one of the places we wished we stayed an extra day. The Hotel is massive and due to the design, it looks like each room will have a good-excellent sea view. Come in the Summer and enjoy the activities and the surrounding areas.

It's about 10 minutes away from the city. The location is not great, but the hospitality is excellent and the hotel thinks about the details of its guests. The lounge area from the large public bath and the free drinks there are great, so you can relax and take your time. I think it's worth staying an night just for this hotel. I wish they could extend the bath time a little more in the morning.

Lovely hotel located 5 minutes walk to Takachiho Shrine and 15-20 minutes to Takachiho Gorge. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent service at the reception desk. Hotel provided seat cushions for us to sit on to watch the evening show at Takachiho Shrine. Also very helpful with confirming our next destination since we did not speak Japanese. Lovely meals in the onsite restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and even stay here again one day.

It is very close to Takachiho Gorge and is subject to traffic control on weekends. , it’s only 15 minutes to park your car and walk into the canyon. There is no food nearby. It is recommended to come back after you are full or order a meal from the hotel. The bed is big, two big and two small are comfortable

Love Ryokan ShinSen very very much, we are very very enjoyable! All staff are very friendly and helpful. Amazing Chef Cooking on dinner and breakfast. Very full each meals. Nice room with Spa. This price all worth it. I would recommend to friends if they go Fukuoka

The lady boss called us to reserve a table beforehand, and then took us to the restaurant by car, and asked the restaurant to call her after our meal and send a car to pick us up to the hotel; because the next day was a weekday, there was no circulating bus After visiting various tourist areas, she arranged a car to take us to Takachiho Gorge, and asked us to walk into a product store there after completing the trip to find the person in charge to call her and send a car to pick us up to the next tourist spot ~ the small train station, and it will be free during the period. It’s really heartwarming to help us prepare a bamboo leaf rice ball for each of us! ! Very friendly and friendly proprietress, of course she drove us to the bus terminal when we finally left the hotel! 😁 The room size is relatively small, there is no problem for 2 people, and it is a little crowded for 3 people! There are small desserts in the room! There is a separate toilet but no separate bathroom, but the hotel has a small hot spring where you can take a shower by the way! The breakfast is a Japanese breakfast, very delicious, and a staff member sings Japanese songs for entertainment! I used it on a solo trip, but I was impressed with the detailed response from check-in to check-out. I was impressed with the idea of using dinner, breakfast and local food. I think the balance between price and service is very good facility.

I got the whole house but the share bath room it out door far away. Weather so cold (end of December) but heater from gas not warm enough.
