Elegance Luxury Executive Suites - Adults Only

The hotel is on the top of the mountain, more than 700 meters away from the sea in a straight line. The seaside in the other direction is a town, two kilometers away. You have to take a taxi to Zakynthos Town, fifteen euros a time. In short, you have to take a taxi everywhere. This is something we didn't expect beforehand. The hotel did not hand it over to the chain management team. There was only one person at the front desk. He watched a half-old Italian man running around. Later, I saw him grinding coffee and preparing drinks. Later, he came to the restaurant to order dishes, and then he came to order and help you. Pull luggage to the room. . . Others are lazy, do whatever they call it, and don't take the initiative. It feels like a family business. The lobby is quite large, empty scattered with tables, chairs, and sofas. There are not many rooms and not of scale. It is estimated that this is the main reason why the professional management team does not come to operate. There are several rooms on the 0th floor with private swimming pools. We live upstairs. The balcony is very clear to watch people swimming and sunbathing, and there is no privacy. Upstairs overlooking the woods and the sea, the view is nice. The room is huge. . . It's not that big. The facilities in the room are not in good condition, and the boxed paper and kettle are only given to us when we go to the front desk. Not worthy of a five-star title. Unprepared to travel with the local group, everyone went to swim in the water. We stayed on the boat stupidly, and cancelled the trip to the Blue Hole altogether the next day. I went to the beach to swim by myself. This hotel is not good value for money! ! ! It is better to choose Zakynthos to live in. The desserts in this hotel are very good and the breakfast is very good.

Popi Star

Popi Star offers great value for money if you want to be near Corfu town. We found the rooms spacious and clean. Arriving at 1:30 am we still received a warm welcome. The towels were soft and the bedding was crisp and well made. The buffet breakfast was generous with good variety. The staff were friendly. We are frequent visitors to Corfu and use the Popi Star as a first stop near the airport before moving on to further destinations later in the holiday. We would say as a budget hotel its hard to beat.

Right so here we go: The rooms/bathroom: Rooms generally nice, clean, white bed sheets. Me and my bf stayed in a standard room and had view of airport runway. Rooms are basic, so bed, tables, mirror, they had tiny bottles of olive oil shampoos so defo bring ur own toiletries and would recommend bringing ur own soap or anti bac as it’s like a soap bar the size of a coin. Shower was nice sometimes had to wait a while to get the hot water, toilets clean, a small hair dryer which is attached to the bathroom wall which was abit inconvenient but note to bring my own next time. Towels provided every day. Balcony ect. Had a noisy fridge but wasn’t a problem. I was abit shocked about the less of things we have in the room like no kettle, fresh water bottles! Ect. But this is again a 3 star hotel. The hotel itself: Hotel has a nice cosy feel to it, blue lobby and bar downstairs where you can drink at night, then you have the dining area, there are steps on all floors the windy ones so be careful on them, and a 3 person lift which is slow but does its job. The pool: The pool is across the road from the hotel and down some steps, has two levels the first has a pool bar and the lady there is lovely, so nice and accommodating, never complains. Then there’s a grass area with some sun loungers on and then down some more steps the actual big pool area with quite a few beds. I would say the decking is very hot when walking into the pool my feet were burning but should have just used my slides, pool it’s self is fine, very very cold but nice when you get in, I did find abit off putting was the amount of bugs that was in the water, and wasps attacking us lol. The food/all inclusive factor: Do not eat here if you are a fussy eater or bring children as there would be nothing for them to eat. The variety was very poor and they had a dish for kids every day so one day there would be ‘fish fingers’ the next day ‘chicken nuggets’ and then that’s all we saw whilst our stay. 2 of 7 of the days they had chips as an option but mainly just pasta, rice, potatos, and salads. I attempted the food but one time my chicken was raw so was very off putting. Multiple times they was collecting my plates which was full and said ‘you don’t like??’ The women in the hall didn’t speak much English and there was this big man guarding the food it was weird lol but alright fair enough. I knew going on this holiday the food wasn’t going to be good but cmon, it was non edible. In the dining hall there was a drinks corner which had tea coffee, apple juice, water, orange juice and beer on tap. No pepsi or anything but I believe u can go to the bar and bring a drink in with you to eat with. So, the drinks aspect, I felt the drinks options were pretty fair and even if not on menu they would still try and accommodate you, there is no limit how many drinks u can have and even have drinks to take to your room. David! Legend, at the bar, he was great, very happy and polite to serve you, he didn

I visited the hotel with my family in the beginning of July and we stayed for 1 week. My experience was amazing. The view from the hotel is one of a kind . The rooms were spotless and spacious. Also, the staff was kind and very helpful. The pool looked absolutely beautiful during the day and the night.A pleasant surprise was the hotels restaurant.I think it was the highlight of our visit. The incredible food ,cooked with “meraki” by the chef , paired with a magestic patio , created a wonderful experience that pleased both our stomachs and our souls. I personally found the a la carte menu very easy to skim through and order. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a rich but peaceful corfiot stay .

A pleasant enough hotel for 2 stars. On arrival, we waited quite some time for anyone to come to serve us, we arrived at around 5 pm. We were roughly pointed in the direction of our room. The room was clean on arrival, but the cleaning in the week that we stayed was very hit and miss. There were no cups in the room so we had to buy a couple at the local supermarket Rooms at the bottom rear of the hotel are quite dark and face the car park, there are some nice trees in a garden area before the car park. We paid 7 euros a day for air con and 3 euros a day for a full sized fridge, which, as you can read on previous reviews, you simply plug in. The tax was only 50 cent a night as its a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was cartons of orange or apple juice, sliced bread with a toaster, a selection of jam/honey, yogurt, sices of ham and cheese, slices of tomato and cucumber, corn flakes, sliced cake, some days fried and some days boiled eggs. A very basic breakfast, and we did bore of it but perfectly adequate. I think the main issue that we had with this hotel was the noise, the planes flew a lot later at night and earlier in the morning than we remembered from our previous visit to Zante, around 11pm and then again at 5am, as you are so close to the run way it's loud. The hotel also has some chickens in the back, with a turkey that swarks anytime from 3am - 6am. Unfortunately for us, we also had some terribly noisy guests sharing the hotel with us returning at 2am slaming doors and shouting down the corridors. (Not the hotels fault) The pool area was nice, on a few afternoons, my partner and I had the pool to ourselves. We ate once from the snack bar and the food was good. The location is good with a short walk up to main street and a slightly longer one down to the beach.

Booked this as a solo trip and I could not have wished for a nicer experience. The staff made me feel like a part of their family. It's a fairly small hotel so it feels nice and personal when you see familiar faces each day. The rooms are average size with a nice balcony overlooking the countryside and sea in the distance. It is fairly quiet at this hotel which was perfect for me. The pool has no noisy animation which again was great for me. The dining area is alfresco with nice relaxing music playing. I thought the food was great with lots of variety each day. There is a nice beach a short walk away where you can rent beds in peak season. It is worth to note in early may this facility wasn't open but it was nice to relax on a towel anyway. Irene and Kristina on reception were always happy to help. The staff here are what makes this place stand out. They have a spa offering treatments and a sauna. At an extra cost but not bad prices. Magdalena gave the best facial. The wifi was good and the decor of the room nice and bright. A short walk away is a bus stop to the capital Argostoli which is really easy to do and well worth it. Not much nightlife around the hotel but this did not bother me at all as I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The staff at dinner and breakfast always had a smile. Elva, Filipo and Labros you guys are amazing at what you do. Lula my cleaner was adorable and kept my room spotless everyday. The cleanliness here is top notch. This hotel was perfect for a solo woman travelling alone. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kefalonia, you will have a lovely stay and most importantly will be treated like a valued guest by the incredible staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a wonderful stay, one of the best holidays ever.
Kymothoe Elite Suites

We enjoyed our stay at Kymothoe Elite. Pros: - Nick is such a great host, given us lots of good tips for the island. Make sure to ask for restaurants recommendations :) - Really nice ocean view from the balcony. Great for sunrises! - Very convenient location and away from the crowds: ~15mins drive from the airport, ~10 mins drive to all the beaches and restaurants. - Great breakfast - super friendly dog on site Cons: - wifi is not good: no internet access from the bedroom, maybe a little from the living room early morning, would need to sit on the balcony to have a slightly better connection. Cell reception could be really bad here as well.
Eleals Boutique Hotel

Have you ever seen dolphins cruising by from your hotel room? Neither had we, until we stayed at Eleals Boutique Hotel on Corfu! 🐬 From start to finish the entire experience was top notch and we felt very welcomed by Sophia and Tasos + their talented team. A great place to wind down and use their free SUP boards and their tranquil private beach (with sunbeds, towels and water shoes provided). Both the breakfast and dinner menu were creative but selected with great taste. Highly recommend for anyone that likes a luxury accommodation in a boutique hotel close to Corfu Town/Kerkyra and the airport (15 min). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our first time in kefalonia , what a treat this hotel was. I booked a pool or garden view, but ended up with a sea view room! There is building works out front of hotel but did not spoil our holiday. This hotel has a stunning pool and bar area. Plenty of different seating areas. Ample double sun beds, pool towels, and no one reserving beds! Breakfast was my favourite time of the day. Such lovely food and lovely terrace to eat on. Bottles of water were replenished every day, plenty of toiletries. Rooms cleaned every day before we’d got back from breakfast. Clean towels every day. But the best thing about this hotel is the fantastic staff, never been in a hotel with such friendly, always smiling staff. They couldn’t do enough for you. The management team should be very proud of them. Would highly recommend this hotel. Had lunch most days with my Malibu and pineapple! Great location, plenty of bars and restaurants within 5/10 minutes. Small beach close by with great each bar. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday such a lovely time .
