The room was very nice, vibrant colors, bed was awesome, all very clean. But the big mistake they made with the renovation were the doors. They slam with a very big bang, so when anyone else on the floor enters the room, it all shakes. And then they are not isolated, you can understand discussions happening outside the room. And then, for the breakfast, dinner, lunch: only christmas music. But of the worst kind. There is no place in the region to escape this in the morning, so you have to deal with the christmas music. And for 17 euro's, it's not even worth actually what you get after your ears are in pain with ”jolly happy christmas” three times during breakfast.

My experience in this hotel was really nice. It's located near the city center and the metro station and you can practically have everything you need (supermarkets, shops, food) within a few minutes on foot. All the stuff is really kind and helpful for anything it may occur during your stay in the hotel. Breakfast has not a big variety of drinks and food but it's still really good. My only complaint about this hotel is that there is no fridge in the room, which you really going to need if you are staying for more than 5 days. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay in days inn and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

I don't know if I've left a negative review before but I was really disappointed by my stay at hotel not hotel Rotterdam. The concept of the hotel is truly a great idea but it appears to really needs updated and better maintained. Positives: it's a fun concept for a hotel, it's close to the train station, the bed was comfy. The food was nice (if/when it arrived). Negatives: the hotel seems to need a paint job and a number of shared space fittings need updated (broken windows and glass on elevator lift). Whilst there are some nice members of staff, nobody seems to know what's going on, particularly for breakfast. The breakfast doesn't get served until 8 and even going down straight away it took 40 mins for a smoothie bowl and a croissant which really isn't ideal when you have already a late start for breakfast. I unfortunately was also given out of date UHT milk for my tea. One day my breakfast order was just forgotten with only 4 tables occupied. The rooms are not terribly well sound proofed so I could hear the reception and people in the corridor singing loudly on the Friday night. Again they could really do with a fresh paint and for marks and fittings to be updated. I get the impression that the hotel is quite understaffed as there was only one staff member available for both check out at 7.45 am which was a challenge when one guest wanted to check out and the other was trying to get an early breakfast (which had not been communicated between the staff from the previous day). All in all, whilst this place has promise and photographs well, I would advise against staying here until they update and upgrade the hotel and improve staffing. Sorry hotel not hotel, I hope you can improve in future.

The hotel is a very professional reception team and all the staff in this hotel that I will not hesitate to classify as the best Ibis Styles attended in recent years. It is a very recent hotel, but it is easy to see that it has been designed with very good quality equipment and materials. The decoration (hall, bar, restaurant, rooms) is tastefully made without forgeting the comfort that some architects forget when designing some hotels. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, and it is very comfortable and comfortable at the bar, restaurant and breakfast. The restaurant (Italy) offers varied and quality sets. The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to many sights and shops as well as the metro and tram if you want to travel further away. The rooms facing the canal have a nice view but it's a shame the windows are small. There is a good car park next door to the hotel but hotel guests get no discount for parking there (24 Euros per night). Rooms are on the small side but fine for a couple of nights. They include a safe, which is nice to have. The hotel is not cheap, though. Around 200 Euros per night (without breakfast or parking) for a basic hotel chain like Ibis is quite steep. For that money, the hotel should at least make sure the curtains are not full of holes! They don't seem to have family rooms either, so families have to pay for two rooms per night.

The hotel is relatively new, there is free parking, this is better, because the parking lot of many hotels in Europe is charged. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and there is a Japanese buffet that is really good, which is the most satisfying meal we have during our stay abroad.

After stay at the Copenhagen CityHub I thought why not give this Rotterdam one a go as my experience before was great. Well firstly my god it was noisy, I had requested a quiet pod in the hotel as I'm a very light sleeper (even with earplugs in and pillow overhead lol) . So I was placed near the toilets/showers.... Ding ding ding alarms should have been going off then as the amount of banging those toilets/showers doors and the thumping of the people who sounded like they was thumping past all the pods (request a top pod in future). With ear plugs I was woken up early by other pod users who didn't have a care about anybody else who would have even been asleep as long as the could have a chat in the hall ways as loud as possible. So if you are going out and getting drunk this hotel is perfect for you but if you are on a sightseeing trip and wanting a early night we'll best of luck with that. None of my USB chargers were working in my pod but luckily I had brought a plug with more than 1 socket on it for charging. You get what you pay here and for a single person it's the cheapest option in the city. Lockers are huge and fitted my large suitcase in very easily. Staff very helpful as usual especially the American guy. Would I stay again, I'm afraid I wouldn't at this one as far too noisy for me. Maybe big groups shouldn't be all put on same floor and then they can meet in area downstairs and chat as loud as possible as they want at any time that suits them.
