Bihai Villa is located in the center of Putuo Mountain, with Puji Temple in front and Baibusha in the back, facing Duobao Pagoda. The main hall of Wenchang Pavilion in the mountain village is a historical cultural relic of Zhejiang Province. It was first built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a three-story Western-style villa built in the Republic of China. The corridors on each floor are protected by Western-style iron railings, the doors and windows are made of colored glass, and the walls are decorated with Western allusions such as "Cupid's arrow piercing the heart". There are rockery and pool bridges in the back garden. The ground is paved with goose* stones into various patterns. The rockery imitates the style of Ningbo Tianyi Pavilion, and is stacked with Taihu stones. It is exquisite and transparent. The hollow stones are cleverly stacked into large and small stone lions and monkeys, which are ingenious and vivid. A half-moon pavilion is built on the wall on both sides of the rockery. One title is "Inhale the Fresh Wind" and the other title is "Plough the Bright Moon". It is unique. After checking in, you can enjoy the architectural aesthetics of the Republic of China.
