Upon arriving at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel, I was greeted with great hospitality. As I was unfamiliar with the surroundings just after getting off the car, my Driver called the Hotel for assistance. The Hotel is located inside a PEDESTRIAN ZONE. Shortly after the call, Siao Dong came to my drop-off point to help me with my luggage and assisted me to check in. She also carried my Baggage to My Room 2303 at Level 3 as there is no Lift Facility here. I thanked here very much as I would have problems carrying my Baggage as I am over 77 years of age. This Ancient City is truly a wonderful place, and the hotel environment is quite pleasant as well. There are lots of variety of local food and snacks. The Hotel also assisted to book a Group Tour to visit Nanjing Toulou and a Private to Fujian Toulou. Also arranged for my private transport by Car to my Hotel in Xiamen.

The hotel is inside the ancient city. The room is relatively small, but the location is quite convenient. The window on the second floor offers a street view of the ancient city. I didn't find it noisy. It was quite quiet at 12 o'clock in the evening and did not affect my sleep. The guys and girls at the front desk were very nice. There is just a bit of smell, maybe because it was just renovated not long ago, it feels stuffy after staying there for a while. Also, the bathroom has no door to separate the wet and dry areas, so the water will spray out when taking a shower. In addition, there was a problem with the wash basin drainage.

Clean and new hotel , booked an extra night extension and it was not only fuss free (5min to recode door access cards), they also arranged to change my bed linen for that one night. 酒店及新又干净，预订了额外一晚的延长住宿，只需5分钟重新编码门禁卡，前台还安排更换了我当晚的床单。

The room was large and clean. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and the service was very good. The surrounding area was also very quiet. The only drawback was that there was nothing to eat nearby. There are two small suggestions: 1. It is recommended to add something to separate the sink and the bed, otherwise water will easily splash onto the bed or bedside table when washing things. 2. Post instructions for use next to the toilet. Sometimes water will come out when flushing.
