I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. The location is fantastic. Easy walk to the main street or access to the Matterhorn. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The hotel is beautifully decorated. You place your request for breakfast the night before and they deliver it to your room. Food was good and promptly brought. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Let them know ahead of time for your arrival and they will send the cutest little car for you! It’s a must stay if you are coming to Zermatt!!

Always great hidden jem in the heart of Zermatt. It is located a short distance from downtown and the train station. Upon arrival were we picked up from the train station and whisked away to the hotel. At the hotel we recieved a warm, inviting welcome. Our suite was very large, which included a large bedroom. a bath area with both a tub and shower and a living space containing a kitchen, a dining area, a relaxation area with a balcony open to free space below. A beautiful spa area, a pool and hot tub as an added bonus. Beautifully decorated with items the owners have found to ensure the space has a warm, inviting feel. We felt as if we were in a welcoming space. Breakfast, served in your room with white linen, silverware and white dinnerware. The food was freshly prepared and delivered and set up. The bar area was cozy and inviting. lots of interesting items, wonderful seating, a game room and even a cigar room seperate and vented. In our travels, we are so happy we found this wonderful place to call home for a few days. Thank you to the staff and owner for making us fell so welcomed. The Matterhorn is visible from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at The Firefly. When we arrived, we were greeted at the train station by staff and taken to the hotel by electric shuttle. The checkin was easy and very informative. Went to our room which had three bedrooms. Great view of the Matterhorn from one room. Decorated perfectly. Breakfast was delivered to us in our room at a time we selected. They let us use backpacks for hiking. The jacuzzi was covered and had a great seating arrangement. Had multiple sauna rooms as well. The bar was nice and bartenders were very friendly and great at making cocktails. Rooms don’t have AC but it was cool Enough at night. We would definitely stay here again if we come back.

But here's a kicker for families: free PlayStation games that were a hit with the kids, keeping them entertained after a day in the snow. The hotel's amenities don't disappoint either. A top-notch gym, an outdoor hot tub, and a lovely pool offer perfect relaxation options. Plus, there's a nice bar for unwinding in the evenings. The location is unbeatable for ski lovers, complemented by exceptional staff and those little luxuries that make a stay special. Hotel Firefly offers an experience that's well worth it for those seeking a memorable ski holiday in Zermatt.

This was hands down the best hotel experience we've ever had. The rooms are spacious, gorgeous and clean. The beds and couch are so comfortable. They had a cute cot area set up for our three year old. They were very helpful and attentive in anything we needed. The pool, sauna and hot tub were top notch! Would definitely stay here again.

I did a lot of research for this trip as there were nine of us and the Hotel Firefly was a home run. My 27 year old daughter was blown away by the spa. Really nice. And the 4 bedroom was amazing. Bar is great and staff and service terrific! We will come back!

Don't bother looking anywhere else in Zermatt... the Firefly is the only place to stay. I did a ton of research on possible accommodations, and chose Firefly based on all of the glowing reviews and the amenities they offered, particularly the spa. Well, the hotel exceeded all of my expectations by miles! The entire vibe of the hotel is both fun and modern and upbeat, but also cozy, yet also posh. How do they do hit every note like that? We stayed in one of the Maxi Suites with three bedrooms and had tons of space to spread out (plus a working fireplace for a couple of chilly nights). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to eat in, and the to-order breakfasts delivered to our room each morning we delicious! There were so many highlights to the Firefly (particularly every member of the amazing staff), but the spa was by far our favorite element, with it's pool, jacuzzi, multiple steam and sauna rooms and just overall elite, elegant, relaxing atmosphere. We feel so fortunate to have found this jewel of a hotel. Book a room now, it is worth every penny!

Michaela is a Five Star representative of Hotel Firefly. My husband & I arrived three hours later than we had planned (it was dark out). After a challenging travel day, were able to exhale in a beautiful environment, and truly feel the red carpet treatment from Michaela. Our room is well appointed and the complimentary in-room breakfast menu DIVINE. The balcony and view are splendid!! Bar 55 is a must for the evening night cap.
