The homestay is halfway up the mountain. The boss arranged for dumplings to come to the mountain and our luggage to go up the mountain. The homestay is clean and tidy. When I arrived at the homestay, I ate Nuodeng Ham and Egg fried rice. It was so delicious. Dinner was also eaten at the homestay. The boss’s cooking skills were first-class. The sunset was down. The B&B is in the ancient village of Nuodeng. Most of the houses here are built with rammed earth walls. They are very beautiful and special. We came during the National Day. Parking was difficult and we could only park far outside the village. Our luggage needed to be carried on mules, so we followed. I was panting heavily and sweating all over when I climbed to the B&B. The ancient villages are full of irregular stone steps. I can’t count how many steps I climbed. It was quite tiring. The environment of the B&B is good. You can see the scenery everywhere. You can stay on the terrace for a whole day and it’s not a waste of time. The room is not very clean, but it's okay under the general environment. However, the bathroom door is broken and does not close tightly. The bath water will spill out. The toilet is a bit wobbly. I hope it can be repaired if there is a chance. The food at the B&B was delicious, and the boss also gave us a taste of the home-brew wine, which was delicious. It's pet-friendly here. Several puppies came that day. I found this highly rated inn on Ctrip and booked it with the intention of giving it a try. It was really surprising to find such an elegant inn in Nuodeng Ancient Village, Yunlong County, Dali, a relatively niche tourist destination. The owner of the inn, Xiao Huang, is a very careful and gentle girl. She speaks in an organized manner and is not impatient. I didn’t know how to get to the inn with my heavy luggage. When I called her, she patiently told me how to download a Yunnan travel reservation. In carpooling, he explained clearly how to get the puller to pick me up and carry my luggage to the inn. Especially after arriving, she turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance to cool down and relieve her fatigue. The room is also clean, refreshing, and a bit artistic. After eating delicious ham and egg fried rice, we walked around and took a good nap until eight in the morning. The village is very quiet at night, except for the occasional meowing of cats.

Returning to Guangdong from Deqin Motorcycle Tour, I didn’t have the chance to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in Meili this time☹️. With some regrets, I navigated to Nuodeng and chose the highly rated Hemerocallis Lodge. The overall accommodation experience was very good. This was my motorcycle trip. The most restful night of sleep😀. Before I left, I happened to see swallows flying between the eaves of the small courtyard. It turned out that the little ones chose to build their nests on the wooden beams of the small courtyard. Haha, I was lucky to have this small courtyard. There were swallows. Come, good omen✌!
