The hotel is close to the Three Gorges Dam, convenient parking, clean rooms and quiet sleep at night. Driving to the Three Gorges Family Scenic Area for about half an hour. The hotel restaurant is convenient for eating and the price is reasonable. It is better to have breakfast at the breakfast shop next to it.

In Trip.com Search for the well-received Siheyuan Inn, the feeling evaluation after living is true and credible. The proprietress was warm and thoughtful. Not only did she upgrade us to the room, but she also arranged for her husband to drive us to the scenic spot and put our car at home, which made it convenient for us to travel and saved us the fare of putting the scenic parking lot. The first time I stayed at a homestay, I was still a little nervous. Fortunately, except that the room was a bit small, I could see that the boss wife was careful about the room layout. It is more convenient to come to the Three Gorges or stay at the B&B. The boss gave us a more reasonable itinerary according to our stay time. The quality of dinner is very big 👍, it is strongly recommended to bring children to this inn, the fish is tender and delicious, and you can eat at ease. JJasmineThe location is very close to the Sanxia Airport, the hotel offered free airport drop off service and it only took about 5 minutes to reach the airport. The front desk was not experienced enough and her service attitude and quality need improvement especially the way how she talks. But the service of the manager 大堂副理小江 was good and even helped to deliver our luggage to the room himself.
During winter, heater is essential. Unfortunately, the heating system of entire hotel was not working on that day and a portable heater was given. The power of the portable heater was not enough to warm the entire room and the room was still freezing cold after 2 hours. I feedback to the front desk that it was way too cold for us and requested for a stronger heater or additional heater. However, my request was turned down and the front desk replied that the heating system was not working and there was nothing she could do. I was so angry and told her off that the malfunction of the heating system was hotel's problem and it was not my problem. I further requested that she better figured out how to make the room warm enough unless she wanted to be responsible for us if we fall sick. Finally, 大堂副理小胡and客户副理小江came with free fruits and snacks for apology and offered to change the current heater to a stronger heater for our room and then finally the entire room is warm enough.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was good but the varieties of breakfast needs improvement.

GGuest UserThis Grand Mercure Hotel on the Bund must be the best hotel in Yichang! Ctrip ranking should be the first! The front desk service is warm ❤️ Breakfast is rich in variety! The most important thing is that there is a constant temperature swimming pool, hot spring pool and children's paddling pool, which is very suitable for family stay! The self-service restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is very cost-effective, small hot pot, sashimi, barbecue, stir-fry, Hong Kong style, small cakes of various flavors, six flavors of ice cream, sake, red wine, beer unlimited drink! Spent three happy days in Yichang, the children didn't stay enough, and will come again next time! I wish the Grand Mercure Hotel a prosperous business!

YYitaoWe stayed for a night to catch the cruise and the hotel is within 3 mins easy stroll to the tourist center and Yangtze river. The shopping center and many restaurants are also within 5 to 10 minutes walk so the hotel location is fantastic.
Room is clean and we had great view to Yangtze river and bridge. Free self service laundry at 6F which is a big plus for us. Free snacks and juice in the lobby and the breakfast is good too.
Hotel staff are very friendly and considerate. Our cruise shuttle bus departs at 5:30pm and the front desk helped us extend the room for 3hrs until 5pm for only 99 Yuan so the kids and our parents can rest more.
Overall great choice for family travelling and we highly recommend!

MMatthewThis is a hotel within another hotel.The name outside is 民生酒店，but once you go thru the revolving door you will find the front desk straight ahead with the correct name. For some reason the hotel is from the 11th-13th floors. For a fee there is a typical Chinese breakfast buffet on the 5th. floor. It is two blocks from Aqua Plaza which has pool tables, movie theaters, restaurants and clothing stores. There is a Lanzhou la mian across the street and two nearby parks. Bus 12 will take you to Yiling Square and the Children's Park. Bus B68 will take you to the East Train Station. Great price and a place to refill water bottles is in the lobby.

GGuest UserService of the Front desk reception was Very Unfriendly and unhelpful with ”I don't Care a Damn” attitude especially the evening staff who was more interested in playing on their phones rather than attending to me even after requesting them in Chinese. Even morning staff did not help when I asked them to help me to book a taxi as I was running short of time to catch my scheduled train. They asked me wait outside and find a taxi myself. Had to navigate myself. No breakfast available even though it was advertised that breakfast could be brought by paying the breakfast charge and No one to tell me the same. Location was Ok and not too far from the CBD or city centre. Right side of the corner had some amenities and stationary like pen, paper cup, hand wipes. Barring the service of the hotel staff, the price of the Room and hotel location were Ok.

336602It was my first time landing in Yichang, a beautiful city, and I liked it very much. The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River attracted us. The Yangtze River Night Tour and the Two Dams and One Gorge twice appreciated the majesty of the two dams and the beauty of the Xiling Gorge, and personally experienced the Three Gorges Dam, a magnificent project of the Genesis.
It is an old hotel and is also famous in the local area. The front desk service is very good, and a high-floor room is arranged. The visual picture has explained that the lady in the open counter of the breakfast restaurant has a very good attitude and greeted us every day when she passed by for breakfast.
The last night was a renewal. I originally booked other hotels. It was this last night that I was awakened by the closing door and ”quarrel” sound of the room next to me at more than three o'clock in the morning, which shows that the sound insulation of the room in the old hotel is not ideal, leaving a little regret for this trip.

GGuest UserThe room is bigger than my expectation. It is very clean and does not smell of cigarette. I especially like the hot shower. Strong and hot. Everything from bath towels, face towels, hand towels, paper cups are all wrapped up with plastic bag. I arrived late and was glad there was a restaurant on the ground floor that is still operating. The food is delicious. Especially the soup. Location wise even though is within walking distance to the HSR, I would recommend that to flag down a taxi because there is a lot of walking and with a heavy luggage it is quite challenging carrying the luggage up the stairs. There's plenty of taxi. I managed to get a taxi at 8am. Opposite the hotel at night there are lots of hawker food. Check in was fast and there is a tour desk on the ground floor I will definitely come back.

KKeithThe hotel is situated right opposite from Sanxia Tourist Centre which is so convenience for us joining Yangtze river cruise. There also have lots of restaurant choices around, a big supermarket and shopping mall next to the hotel.
The hotel room is clean with a big picture window which offers a great view of the Yangtze river. The hotel also has a washing machine on-site (laundry detergent is also provided) and can store our luggage so that we can enjoy our last day in Yichang. However, please aware they not provide toiletries and no fringe on site.
The front desk staff is nice and suggest a nice local restaurant for our dinner. He also response very quickly on our enquiry via WeChat.
The room is definitely value for money.

The room facilities are comfortable and sanitary. The facilities are very user-friendly, and the scenery outside the window is good. The hotel room is very spacious and the hot water is relatively large. It is more comfortable when taking a bath. In addition, the TV in the hotel also uses a projector. When you can't sleep at night, you can enjoy the same visual effect as a private theater. It was a good stay experience.
