We were a family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) who stayed at Rainrock villa for 2 nights. We went to celebrate our Mom's 60th birthday ad a family. Our experience overall was underwhelming at the property. Pros: 1)Its nestled deep inside yercaud and the winding roads and club to the property was a good 2)Beds and washrooms were clean 3) breakfast provided in the morning was decent. Cons: 1) we booked a dome and a 2 bhk villa. When we checked in the dome was not even cleaned. They took another hour to clean it so we had to wait in the 2 bhk villa. I would have expected them to clean and be ready for welcoming paid guests rather than making them wait. 2) pool was empty and it was filled only by night. Also water was not clean, so it was unusable 3) There were frequent power fluctuations and back up was poor quality. 4) there was no Mobile tower connectivity and Internet connection/wifi was poor and not working 99% time 5) my father fell down while climbing to the dome. It was appalling to know that there was no first aid. We had to drive down to the Yercaud town to get help. 6) There were two attendants (property help or manager). They were having pleasing behavior but were not of any practical help most of the times. 7) the dome was infested with lot of ants. Even after giving feedback it remained a problem for both the nights. Suggestions: 1) Please keep sufficient well trained and customer centric staff at your property. 2) Call the customer/meet them and ask for feedback on the stay 3) Have basic facilities ( power, internet, First aid, cleaned and prepared rooms in advance) In summary, I would advice family to avoid this property.
