Bungalow 618 at The Mirage Resort & Spa, October 2024 As a heads up, my partner and I are in our 60's & booked our week long A/I holiday via TUI. ARRIVAL We arrived on the evening of 13/10 & our first impressions from the front of the hotel was very good. A member of staff took our cases from the coach & led us to reception. Reception ladies gave us a really nice welcome & were very professional. We received a piece of paper with details of where we could eat/drink & the opening times. The staff member who met us from the coach showed us to our bungalow which was a short walk past the pools. THE BUNGALOW This is semi-detached & enter you enter into a decent size lounge with a large sofa, a comfortable chair, pouffe/come coffee table,tiled floors, a TV with two English film channels, an empty fridge inside a unit with a drawer, above is a kettle, mint tea bags, coffee, sugar & two small cups. Large sliding door to terrace with a two chairs, a clothes dryer & outside light. Off one side of the lounge is a toilet which is separate from the bathroom which is next door. This has a single basin with enough space for toiletries either side, a large mirror above & two plug points. There is a spacious walk in shower with a small obscured glass window. The bedroom is next door to the bathroom, there is a from super.king sized bed with side tables, another large wardrobe a small table which has a lift up lid with mirror where you can store your make up & get ready there as it has a comfortable chair too. Sliding glass door to terrace. No tv. Cleaned well daily and bedding changed once/twice by our amazing lady. Tea bags etc replenished daily also. AROUND THE HOTEL Really lovely, clean infinity pools area. All with different vibes. Children's pool good, middle pool for activities and another with a more chilled out and relaxed feel, all with plenty of comfortable sunloungers. Cabanas also available in the latter. Lovely gardens kept really well by the unbelievably hard-working staff which were mostly ladies. A bar is close by for drinks/snacks. Waiter or self service for whichever you prefer. Drinks are good. RESTAURANT Felt very much like a breakfast room with quite basic tables/chairs but also a pleasant outdoor terrace with comfort chairs and a nicer feel. Food was okay but not brilliant. Same vegetable soup available for three days, not great as one of us is a vegetarian. Pasta station including pizzas at lunch/dinner and various meats/stews &veg. Salad bar just okay. Waiter service for drinks. These guys work really hard and the majority really pleasant and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They all have their own group of tables to look after. Breakfast had poor choice of cereal as it was very childlike selection. Fruit selection was the poorest I've ever seen with only apples, plums and oranges which were mostly dried up. Honest Review - Will state good and bad points and you can decide Service was good Pool area and garden is beautiful and clean Lovely breakfast Room is clean and no bugs in bed Room service is rubbish and limited choices Room next door was super noisy Reception phone in toilet so its a hastle if you want to call them as you have to keep going bathroom - man couldn’t hear my husband so most of the time he went downstairs to talk to them Cant bring food in from outside No complimentary water at all not even on arrival We arrived early and had to wait till 2pm to check in - Other places complimentary check you in early as they understand you have travelled hours Nobody speaks or understands english and that gets frustrating Overall definitely not a 5 star hotel more so a 3 star hotel. Still a good experience however I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel environment is first-class and the sea view room price is very favorable. It is recommended to stay. The only unpleasant thing is that when checking in, the receptionist insists that you send him a confirmation email for the reservation. This is very strange. No hotel has such a requirement, and giving him a screenshot of the reservation is not enough.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. When I arrived, I was advised my room wouldn't be ready. They invited me to have some lunch, come back and it would be sorted. When I went back, it was the same story. Told come back an hour later, same story. It was around 3hrs after I arrived that I was able to get into my room. The room itself was absolutely shocking. The decor was like something from the 80s, there was a burn in the carpet where someone had left an iron on it, the bathroom was disgusting and hadnt been cleaned properly, when I took a shower, the bath filled with water due to issues with drainage. All in all, the room left a lot to be desired. The food was also disappointing. After the 3rd day, I stopped eating at the restaurant as it had given me an upset stomach. The bar was basic. Drinks were served in paper cups and served one at a time. I would have had my drink finished by the time I went back to the pool and would need to go back. It felt as if the staff thought the were doing you a favour by doing their jobs and did not make me feel welcome. The staff gave no information about any of the services provided and I felt like I was left to myself to figure the hotel out. I would not go back to this hotel and would implore anyone who is considering it to reconsider.

Large hotel well located on the coast of Hammamet, the children took advantage of the heated swimming pool, great entertainment in the evening around the swimming pool and also inside, the food was good, however the staff were not very smiling, not very welcoming and not available, the rooms and bedding that makes you want to sleep, tv from the old millennium and the bathroom that has no have the category of a 4 * and they need to be renovated.

Although the hotel time is a bit old, the hotel service is very good, the room is good, the hotel pool is very high in the afternoon and evening, there is a theme park on the side of the hotel, there is a small restaurant at the intersection, cheap and delicious, from the beach or A little distance, it is the beach after crossing the crossroads. The Hammamet people are also very friendly. Next time you come to Tunisia, you will come to Hammamet. This is a good place for a holiday.

Professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness of the staff. Elegant and modern environment. Very clean and well cared for. Very large structure with many activities. Beach a few meters. Lots of entertainment, clubs and shops for shopping in the area. Generous breakfast and with a very wide choice of food. Perfect hotel!

Disappointing for this price and for a 4 stars hotel. Room was barely acceptable, clearly not cleaned below the beds, no glasses, no towels, soap and shampoo containers almost if not empty upon arrival and were not filled at all during our stay. Towels were a nightmare to get: sometimes just enough, sometimes missing one, sometimes missing two. Getting an iron was a battle and forget about laundry service. Requests were not always met with a nice answer, they painted a room next to ours taking no precautions, getting the smell far into ours. Lunch was excruciatingly expensive for the area, forget about it. Included breakfast and dinner were OK. Location was very nice, although the surroundings are a bit dead..

The hotel has amazing housekeeping and server . There buffet has a variety of delicious food. On top of that , the hotel rooms give off a cozy atmosphere with really comfortable beds and good wifi service . Finally the party at night was fun to attend it had a mix of tunisian and western music . I really enjoyed my stay here with my family and id love to come back again next holiday .
