Marriott staff welcomed us at the curb side. Check in was painless and soon we were off to our room. In room hot springs was a pleasant touch. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Even the Japanese pillows were soft and cozy. The food was top notch and catered to every taste. We opted for the dinner package—well worth the money. After dinner we rang for a late night massage…should have rethought that one. Asked for two therapist and got one. She had no clue what a massage was! Seriously!!! She literally poked at me with her finger tips. The pushed my head agains the pillow for ten minutes. Finally was had enough and she was dismissed with her full pay. Noted, she was not affiliated with the hotel, she was merely the lady they called. Please never call her again! Loved the hotel and the view. A must for anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

The hotel has a pleasant scenery, and you can directly see Mount Fuji. It is a few steps away from the most beautiful camera position of Lake Yamanaka. Many people take wedding photos here, which is very beautiful. The facilities are complete and new, very suitable for family travel. Three bad points: First, public transportation is not convenient, and it is not easy to call a taxi to go or leave. Second, the hotel check-in is very troublesome. You have to fill in your personal details on the iPad one by one, and the Japanese customer service staff must confirm it remotely. It is a bit difficult to communicate. Their English level is really hard to describe. Third, it is recommended to stay in rooms 101 and 102. Rooms 103-104 are pet-friendly. The sofa on the first floor is very dirty, with obvious pet traces, and the second floor is relatively clean

This time I stayed for two nights, one night and two meals, the breakfast was roughly the same on the two days; and the dinner was barbecue, one night was roast beef, and the second night was seafood. Both breakfast and dinner are served with rice and tea.
The attitude of the waiters is very good, but unfortunately, the English is relatively poor, and they mainly communicate in Japanese and Mandarin.
In terms of facilities, there are two indoor hot springs and a small open-air hot spring. After soaking in the hot spring, you can go to the comic room to read comics/sit low and enjoy the massage chair (no extra money for washing). In addition, there is a Zhuoqiu table in the Lobby position.
The location is relatively far away, and it takes 5-8 minutes to walk to the station and the convenience store. If you are traveling by car, you can moor outside the hotel.

Overall very satisfied. The location is next to Lake Yamanaka, very quiet. There are Chinese staff in the hotel, communication is barrier-free. When I went there, I almost couldn't buy a ticket. The staff helped me to find tickets for nearby stations and arrived smoothly. They also provided pick-up and drop-off services, which is very important because it is not convenient to take a taxi here... The hotel has electric power-assisted bicycles, which are 1,000 yen cheaper than those on the street. This car helped a lot. You can see Mount Fuji a few steps from the hotel entrance, and you can see the red Fuji in the morning. The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are clean and simple, and it is quite comfortable overall.

Second visit. Mt. Fuji is clear in winter. In the morning, I went to the illumination square in front of the restaurant because it was Akafuji before sunrise. From the right end to red purple, when the sunrise started at about 1 / 3, I returned to the magnificent Fuji, but the sunrise on the left, the full moon on the upper right, and Mt. Fuji in the middle. I have to see this. Under the sunrise is the sea of clouds in Lake Yamanaka. The view that there is everything to see. Since there are many families, the rooms are large and you can see Lake Yamanaka and Mt. Fuji from all rooms. The bath is on the 2nd floor with B1 and the mountain trail is clear from the observation bath. You should see people in the season. It is a good hotel that is calm.

When I woke up in the morning and opened the tent curtains, the view of Mt. Fuji was so beautiful that I was moved 🗻✨️ Personally, I had so much food that I ended up leaving a little bit of it 💦 But it was delicious 🍖 The bath was an open-air bath and a sauna. There was also. I had a lot of fun with my friends because I could play Roryu! I'm happy to be able to make a bonfire. I felt soothed while drinking coffee and sitting around the bonfire 🔥☕️ The price is a little high, but I would like to go there again if I have the chance ☺️✨️

Because it was a corner room, it is occupied by Mt. Fuji alone from the room! The meal was never a lot of items, but the seasoning was very good. The soup of the miscellaneous boiling was the best. The room was on the bed by fukafuka and toilet bus, and the public bath was complete and nice. There was one difficulty and there was no key locker in the dressing room. There is a free locker at the entrance of the bath, so the valuables are left there.

We are glad to have stayed in Fuji Matsuzono Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 3 and there was a small table with 2 chairs that allowed us to sit around to have some late night snacks and drinks. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When I approached them at 1am for an additional pillow, they immediately attended to the request. The bath area for the onsen was clean and spacious. The amenities provided were also good quality. There is also a great selection of food during breakfast. Most importantly, room was facing Mt Fuji and we managed to get a nice morning view of Mt Fuji when we woke up. The view was spectaculars and there is a nice courtyard that one can take nice photos with Mt fuji in the background. The hotel is also located in a very convenience location. Once you exit the hotel, you will see Lake Yamanakako and there were many eateries nearby, all within walking distance. As we drove, it was also convenience that Lawson and 7-11 is less than 5 min drive away. Will definitely visit again.

Fuji and enjoy a special moment of peace and tranquility.
This is a new type of ryokan where all rooms are equipped with private saunas. Because it is completely private, you can enjoy a relaxing experience that is gentle on your body and mind without worrying about being seen. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka in front of you. Fuji, and Lake Yamanaka are right in front of you. The water from the sauna is mild on the skin, and the water from the underground Mt. The outdoor air bath is comfortable even in the summer time, as Lake Yamanakako has a climate similar to that of Helsinki, Finland, the home of the sauna. In addition to such an excellent sauna experience, the rooms are colorful and beautifully decorated. The cuisine is prepared with fresh ingredients from the rich land of Yamanashi and other parts of Japan. Please spend a special time filled with relaxation in a ryokan that incorporates abundant blessings of nature.

Outstanding
YYaang LiuVery comfortable and spacious place. Recommend.
The landlord is friendly. He showed the flexibility and delivered my breakfast in advance in the night, which enabled me to depart to the Fuji mountain for a long distance and time consuming trail early in the next morning.
SSanghiVThis Riyokan is a true gem. It’s located right next to the lake and the bus station! The accommodations are very clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The authentic food is outstanding, with a delicious breakfast spread that rivals 5 star hotels! The real hidden gems though, are the family members who put their heart and soul into running this humble yet amazing place, and treating all guests like family. The son and father of the family actually took time out of their busy schedule, to drive and show us around the area (unsolicitedly), and guided us with our trip in every way possible. Honestly, ईंट felt like we were visiting our Japanese family for vacation :) Yet another example of true Japanese warmth and hospitality that we were fortunate enough to experience on what’s been a wonderful trip! Yoeshi san wa, domo aarigato gosaima****a!
GGuest UserIt was a very pleasant staff. It was the season of autumn leaves, so I had to clean up the dead leaves outside early in the morning. Thanks to such a staff, it became a good memory of this trip. I was very happy with the little consideration. My son was very happy with the potato chips he received while waiting at the reception. I would like to use it again. It's not the service and facilities of a luxury hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. There was a sticker, but it takes time for hot water to come out. Please wait patiently as it is a problem with the equipment. It may take 3 to 5 minutes... The usage time of the communal bath is posted at the entrance, but just in case, it is better to tell them that you will use it and the time you will use it. It's a shared bathroom, so I don't know if you can use it at your desired time, but I'm sure the bath will be ready by that time. There are two entrance doors, so it would be nice to have a sign for the reception entrance. There may be individual differences in the evaluation of this pension, but for me it was a good place to relax.
MMarco29thvery nice hotel with Japanese style room and breakfast. we've got push bike rent for free and around 6pm they offer hot chocolate and marshmallow skewer to cook in the fire, in the gardenin front of the mt. Fuji. the onsen is pretty good too and rooms are big. I would book it again
WWudixiaoshutiaoJust opposite Asahigaoka Station, there are highway buses and bus stops, so transportation is convenient;
A traditional Japanese-style room with your own floor, a refrigerator and a kettle, and breakfast bought at 7-11 can also be heated in the lobby microwave;
There is free coffee in the lobby, and you can take a look at various promotional travel brochures;
There is a bicycle rental shop opposite the post office, which I didn’t find out until before I left; buses basically run every hour, so you need to plan in advance;
The air conditioning is powerful. It’s very hot in the mountains during the day but cools down in the evening;
There are many delicious food nearby, including Japanese-style Fujiwara, set meals such as Sanenen Paradise, and an Italian restaurant 2km away;
The service is very friendly and you can communicate in simple English; there are also public baths and hot springs.
Overall very satisfied.
Kky917The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it is no problem if you travel by car.
The design and decoration of the hotel are very fashionable, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is quiet, and you can see deer, kittens, etc. The hotel has two private hot springs for bathing. You can use it by making an appointment with the staff. The basic ladies' toiletries are all available, and the hair dryer is from Dyson✨
The hotel staff were very helpful and patient. I had a problem with my car when I was traveling by car. I needed to call the local police and get a report for insurance compensation. Thanks to the staff who always helped me communicate in Japanese, it made things a lot easier and saved me a lot of worry. 👍All the staff are very helpful. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt very comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel. Although Lake Kawaguchi is more popular, Lake Yamanaka is also good. It is close to Shiratorihama and you can have close contact with many swans😆
TTayen ZGood value for money, the room is simple, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, the location is equivalent to a villa complex in the suburbs of China, there are few people and it is quiet, it is very suitable for people who like to travel on two legs and families who drive here. The hostess is great, she answered all my questions and taught me how to sort garbage. I stayed there for one night and then climbed Mount Fuji. I climbed to the top on my birthday and came back to stay. I came down the mountain to catch the bus very late and didn’t have time to eat. My feet couldn’t walk anymore. The hostess saw that I was alone and helped me cook a bowl of birthday longevity noodles in the middle of the night. It was so warm. By the way, I like the layout of the public area! (Attached is the original photo)
GGuest User”The Day” in Yamanakako The Day Post General Glamping Village I went glamping at Yamanakako ♡ You can see Lake Yamanaka right in front of you 🎵 Outdoors surrounded by nature at Glamping Dome 💓 The ceiling is also high Open and airy ♡ The bathroom and office are located in a former inn and have a retro atmosphere, and you can even wear yukata 🎵 Glamping Dome size: 39 square meters A relaxing night surrounded by nature is very elegant. It's nice to have it 🎵 The BBQ was voluminous with big meats, sausages, and fish ♡ No bath, no toilet (separate toilets for men and women and a large public bath are available outside) 4Bed room Capacity: 2 to 4 people Shared Fire pit (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only) ◉Room facilities ・Internet (Wi-Fi connection) ・Air conditioner ・Refrigerator ・Hair dryer ・Humidifying air purifier ・Kettle ・Kotatsu (winter only) Very mellow water quality as it uses underground water from Mt. Fuji 🎵 is said to be the attraction, and the large public bath warmed my body and felt good ♡
カカルピンチョA quiet inn in a forest about a 10-minute walk from the shores of Lake Yamanakako. An inn with an image similar to that of a youth hostel. This stay was for 5 adults and was a room with a board space between 8 tatami mats. The cospa was the best because it was split by 5 people. The check-in time was told in advance, but when the schedule changed and we arrived early, the front desk was absent. It seems that only one person is responding, and the phone seems to be difficult to connect. If you have any questions, it seems better to ask them all at once. Reception until 10pm. Room facilities include TV, refrigerator, kettle, tea / cup, and bath towel. There is no yukata or toothbrush. It was not cold at all because I paid a heating fee of 1000 yen and put a stove in the room in winter. Baths and wash basins use shared facilities. The bath is available from 19:00. There is no meal service, but there are several restaurants if you walk to the lake. At the inn there were cup noodle sales and vending machines. An inn with a style that you do yourself. There is no excess service, and I think that is reflected in the price. Comfortable enough.
