It was a hotel directly connected to Yamagata Station. The weather was good on the day I stayed, the mountain 々 was clear at dusk, and I was able to see a beautiful moon at night. If you walk in front of the station, there are restaurants and supermarkets, so I think it's not troublesome to stay. There was also a convenience store on the 1 floor. I would like to take care of you again when you go to Yamagata.

Conveniently attached to Yamagata JR Station, for easy access to Tokyo Shinkansen, as well as to daytrips to Ginzan Onsen and Zao Onsen Ski Resort. Our room was in the newer South Annex, comfortable and spacious. Hotel granted our room request and were attentive to our stated diet requirements. We chose Japanese breakfast set on both days and they were delicious, of excellent quality and good portions. We used one of the coin laundry machines on 2F, but wished there were more machines offered on different floors.

Just off the deck in front of Yamagata Station, good access along the big street in front of the station. It is also convenient to the restaurant town in front of the station. Because it is not a big hotel, there is no special feature, but the room is clean and comfortable, there is no luxury, but there is also a free breakfast, and the price was relatively reasonable. The minimum required functions were complete and perfect to stay simple. In addition, since there is no parking lot around, it is difficult to park far away (opposite the main street, parking JA Yamagata, 3 block away). It is recommended for those who don't care about here.

When taking the bus to Yamagata, remember to walk directly into the JR station and cross the JR station. It is faster. Go out from the west exit of JR Yamagata Station and walk straight for about 3-5 minutes. You will see the hotel. Do not follow the Google route and go around in a big circle. After checking in, hotel 2 In front of the elevator on the first floor, there is a toothbrush set (the bristles are quite soft), face wash, makeup remover, facial mask, bath powder, cotton swabs, razors, pre and post-shaving supplies, etc. You can take them by yourself, between 12 noon and 12 p.m. The restaurant on the floor provides free coffee, juice, etc. for consumption. There are also full bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available in the bathroom. The room can accommodate 27-inch luggage (one can be inserted into the aisle to open in an L shape) and 29-inch luggage (if fully unfolded, it will block the door to go out). Overall, it is clean and convenient. , close to the station, there is a supermarket next to it, I highly recommend it!

It is about a 5-minute walk from Yamagata Station and a convenience store is nearby. Overall it was not a big hotel, but it was a very comfortable stay with a warm feeling. The room is simple, and above all, the key to the room is a PIN. You don't have to leave your room keys, walk with them, and you don't have to worry about losing them. There are not many types of breakfast that can be eaten for free, but there are local ingredients, and tamakonnyaku and potato boiled are provided daily. The day I stayed was tama konjac, and I definitely want to eat Imoni next time. I knew the hotel name for a long time, but this time I stayed for the first time. I stayed and the room was not large, but it was easy to spend and I was able to stay calmly. In the future, I would like to stay at super hotels all over the country, including this hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Inside it looks like a small feodal castle. The room we had was spacious and beautiful. We come to the station on a shuttle (but it's really ready, just 5 minutes walk, attention it goes to the direction station->hotel). Kaheki is excellent. Japanese breakfast is only. Les senses sont très agréables mais ne proposent pas d'amnésie et vous n'avez droit qu'à une seule plaque de produit si bien que si vous y aller plusieurs fois, vous n'en avez plus. The team is very pleasant but speaks little English (for certain not at all). The boss is quite unpleasant, it's a pity because it's one of the last people you'll cross and it leaves a bit bitter taste. There have been several ryokans in Japan, in different regions (including Kyushu, Fuji, Nagano and Kyoto), and I think the price is too high compared to the average (no special view of whether rooms or hotels in themselves, no 'amneties, little of specific services...). The lack of proposals at Zao Onsen certainly pushes to put quite high rates but it's a pity...

An inn with a connection to poet Mokichi Saito. Waka poems written by the guests and locals are displayed, and there are *****s of paper and writing brushes in the room. The number of rooms is small, and meals can be served in private rooms. The furnishings and furnishings, and the tableware used for meals, etc., show a sense of commitment and taste. In particular, the cloudy, sulfur-scented hot springs while looking at the piled-up snow and the delicious, gentle-tasting dishes made with ingredients from Yamagata are pleasing to the eye and very satisfying. I was able to learn about the history and culture of Yamagata by receiving detailed answers to my questions about ingredients and other items. The shuttle service to the bus terminal and ropeway platform is also a nice service.

The location is good. Room is decent equipped with heater that I think is time to replace seems not working very well. The breakfast and dinner especially is very worth n nice. First night we had pork shabu shabu n second night lamb BBQ. The staffs in restaurants r friendly n good, especially the old uncle n Philippo lady . Can see all the local staffs sort of rely or keep letting the lady work only as she speak english. In other words, a bit taking advantage of her. onsen is also nice especially the outdoor with trees n snow feel. The front desk staffs r very bad. There is one young guy that just stand there and when I carry my little girl with one hand while another hand pushing luggage where I need to push the entrance door. During check in, even the philipino girl helped to push the luggage inside while the same guy just stand there n look. Another more serious attitude guy was the older shorter guy with mole on his face, I parked my car in front as there was no parking didn't know is the hotel's van lot, the guy spoke with to remove the car like scolding n yelling at me. Super bad attitude. Lastly the air filter in the room, the cleaning standard operating procedure should include cleaning the water tank n it's surrounding. Looks very dirty with mold. Overall is worth your money n experience just some negative experiences by some bad staffs. Not missing another issue is the smoking room, is the exactly at the entrance n next to the welcome drinks sofa (though with ventilation n dedicated room but still can smell the smoke)

MmomomamamomomamaEveryone says it's very wonderful, but have you ever stayed there? It's so terrible. First of all, the response of the parking lot clerk (the shorter) is the worst, and there is a feeling of trouble in the face. There is no affection or anything. I was asked to stop it difficult (not a parking lot), but if it's a place, please do it! It was like that. Even if you let me carry my luggage and leave it with a cart, the room is normal. Well, it's a place for skiers, so it's dirty and old. The air conditioner in the room is a type that attaches to the window. I'm worried when it will fall, and now this is ... Sweat It's a type that doesn't open the screen door, but small insects come in. As for the bath, I rented a private bath (open-air bath), but the view is not good and it is narrow anyway! It would have been nice if the large communal bath had vinyl to put wet things in. It will take you to the Zao Kamiyu joint open-air bath by bus. This driver was very friendly. This bath was the best. Regarding meals, there are many types, and there are items written, but I don't know what it is. There is no explanation. It's noisy for the time being. Good morning to the little child! Where are you going today? Was it delicious? I was listening, but when the child was embarrassed, he was surprised to hear that he was saying ”Oh! I was ignored!” in a loud voice. It's unpleasant. Only foreign employees were very kind. Breakfast is as good as a business hotel. It's a little like a maze, and if you make a mistake in the place to go to the venue at night and attach it at a different entrance, it's coldly treated as ”It's not here!” And ”No”, how do you go to the place? When I heard that, a word over there (laughs) What? Over there? Which one? I laughed involuntarily. If it smells troublesome, even if you write it, I took a morning bath in the large communal bath and took a break while waiting for my partner and waited in the lobby, but I didn't say hello even if there was an employee. I was wandering around, but I ignored it at all. The morning greetings written by a famous person in front of me are displayed on the forehead (laughs), but Lucent's pair of stays at Naruko Hotel, which is considerably cheaper than here the day before and the service is thoroughly attentive. The response was really really the worst. I will never go again.
GGuest UserMy favorite Zao Onsen. I had only visited on a day trip, but this time I stayed for the first time because I wanted it. I stayed overnight at Zao International Hotel, which has a good reputation. There is another hotel in the hot spring town, and I thought the service that can be used for this bath was good. The drawback is that it is a little far away. The indoor bath and the open-air bath were large and I was able to take a relaxing bath. There was a cherry blossom used in the open-air bath in the rainy weather. Unfortunately the weather was nice so I didn't have the opportunity to use it, but I think the atmosphere is great if I wear it with this. The local Yamagata beef grilled on a ceramic plate was excellent for the meal. As with Yonezawa beef, Yamagata has a high level of beef. And the rice was delicious. I was also happy with the detailed service such as welcome dessert in the refrigerator at check-in. The dessert melon was delicious. If I have a day to come to Zao again, I would definitely like to visit again.
AAnonymous UserI chose it for the purpose of survival. I was told that you can change your indoor wear and swimsuit as many times as you like, so if you're staying overnight, I don't think it's necessary to bring a swimsuit as it will be part of your luggage. My room was on the first floor, and the staff told me that ``the view on the first floor isn't very good...'' but I was worried because I spend most of my time outside of my room, taking in hot springs, saunas, playing areas, and reading books. It did not become. On the other hand, it was convenient because restaurants and sauna gardens were nearby. It was nice to have unlimited water and coffee everywhere. The staff at every post were pleasant and kind, which left a lasting impression on me. I would like to stay here again.
SSometimestraveller12We went as a group of 5 to snowboard and the location was perfect, 7 min walk from chairlift 4, they also offer special deals for daily lift passes and nearby rental shop (Best Rental Shop) which was great! Fantastic onsen in the facilities open 24 hours every day (2 public and 3 private was available) was perfect for our aching bodies! The best part were the staff in particular a very cheery waiter who always delivers breakfast and dinner service with a smile! Food was delicious and showcased all the best seasonal local foods. While reception staff were not well rehe****d in english they tried their best to assist us as best as possible. They are slightly short staffed on front desk/in the shop but we were never really rushed for service and a bit of patience meant everyone is happy and you were eventually seen to! Our room was simple japanese style room with futons but very large for 5 people with nice views. We would absolutely come back here it was a very enjoyable stay!
GGuest User📍 Location: It is about 5 minutes walk from the station, which is very convenient. 🤵🏻 Service: Free shuttle service from the Tibetan King Hot Spring Bus Terminal to the hotel, but the shift is sparse and an appointment is required three days ago. 🏠 Room: Japanese-style room (one berth and two meals) HKD1931 + hot spring tax 300 Advantages: 🤩 Full floor is paved with tatami floors, so you can wear slippers, you can wear the new socks provided by the hotel or walk barefoot all the hotel, there is a large shared space, free tea, 😍 massage chairs and board games, You can enjoy the sunset at dusk. The room is very large, there is a staircase at the door, equipped with a TV, a mini refrigerator, a dressing table and a separate toilet. In the evening, there will be staff-Japanese-style beds, and the whole is very strong with retro Japanese elements. Disadvantages: There is no elevator, the staff will help take the luggage upstairs, but they will not speak English, and they will not take the initiative to give free to the attached hot springs, which is generally for foreign tourists. In addition, the hotel is too big, the corridor is exactly the same, it is easy to get lost in the middle. Hot springs: Small indoor hot springs ♨️, sometimes the male and female soups will be exchanged, the environment is not similar, and there is an open-air wind for a fee, but we did not go, because it has been soaked enough 😅. ♨️ The hotel also has two sister hotels, namely Tibetan King International Hotel and Tibetan King Four Seasons Hotel, but the time can be limited to before 3 o'clock, so we missed ☹️ when we checked in, it's a pity! There are also three public indoor hot spring houses that can be used for free. We all visit 😝 within one night, all of which are exactly the same layout. It doesn't matter if you don't go 😑!
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is convenient. It takes about 30 minutes by bus from Yamagata Train Station to the hot spring hotel. When I was worried about carrying large luggage to the hotel, I saw the Shuttle Bus picked up by the hotel staff as soon as I got off the bus. I was really pleasantly surprised. In addition, the hotel is only a 10-minute walk away from the ski lift station. If you don’t want to go to the ski resort, the hotel has Shuttle Bus every morning and afternoon to arrange transfers. Just pay attention to the timetable. The hotel actually has a variety of room types, but the room we booked is on the first floor. The room on the first floor is set in the west building. There is no elevator to reach the room. It is quite difficult to carry large luggage to the room. There is no separate toilet and bathroom in the room. The decoration is a bit dilapidated, and the public toilets are small in size. If they are obese, they can’t get in at all. As there was no room category to choose from when booking, I felt a little overwhelmed when I arrived at the store. The room we booked includes 1 night and 2 meals. The food is delicious and exquisite. After staying for 4 consecutive days, the food is different every day. With the value of our reservation, the price is really high. The hotel service is first-rate. During the time, my friend slipped and broke her ankle bone in the parking lot. The hotel staff immediately called her ambulance to the hospital. After she was discharged from the hospital, she also carefully arranged wheelchair transportation. At the same time, we arranged for friends to stay on the elevator floor and have separate toilets for free. Room. Since friends need to return to Hong Kong for medical treatment early, the hotel specially arranges vehicles to be sent to Yamagata Airport (the traffic is of course charged, but the price is very reasonable), so that friends can feel at ease during the process. I would like to express my sincere thanks to every employee of the hotel for their enthusiasm and care, and fully appreciate the high-quality service level and the strong human touch. As for the open-air hot springs, they may be closed due to bad weather, and there are free massage chairs in the bathroom for free use by customers. Compared with other hot spring hotels, most of the massage chairs are made of materials, and they feel generous and considerate and worth recommending.
Nnao108It is a recommended hotel when using high-speed buses and Yamagata Airport shuttle bus to Sendai City. It was a hotel with conscientious accommodation and hospitality. There is a repeat if you only sleep in a location that is not troubled by neighboring restaurants.
__e244It is an old hotel, so you may not want to take a bath in your room, but their public bath is good. This place is on the hill which means you will not want to walk by your own in winter because of the slippery Mountain path. But in other hand it is really convenient because they provide shuttle bus to bus station or cable car station. And there is a ski place just in front of the hotel, you can borrow the equipments from hotel.
GGuest UserI visited with my children on weekdays in June. On that day, we were able to use it very freely because we were the only customers. The impression is that the building is carefully and beautifully used. The restroom was not in the room and was shared, but it was clean and there was no particular stress. (Because there were no other customers) The landlady was kind and talked to the children many times, so it was comfortable even with children. I was able to eat well from the morning, and he told me, ”There are many twin cherries this year 🍒.” I saw twin cherries for the first time, but they were delicious 😋 I arrived at the Shinkansen late at night and was scheduled to leave at 9 o'clock in the morning, so the location was convenient and helpful.
GGuest UserThe minor problem is that the door lock is very difficult to be unlocked. There is instruction to turn counter clockwise but it looks like sometimes work sometimes don’t work. Otherwise excellent.
