I stayed here for night, having left the higher rated Wanda hotel due to a lack of AC and being unable to sleep all night. The room and bathroom exceeded my expectations for 4 stars and were very close to 5 star standard IMO. The staff allowed me to check the room(and most importantly, AC) before booking, which I appreciated. Breakfast was good. I would stay again if returning to Xining.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional conduct of two male front desk staff members I encountered during my recent stay at this hotel. I approached the front desk to inquire about to extend my stay. The two staff members I interacted with were both rude and dismissive, speaking to me without making eye contact and answering in a very loud voice. Their behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I understand that front desk staff members are often busy, but there is no excuse for treating guests with disrespect. I would appreciate it if you would address this matter with the staff members in question and ensure that all your employees are trained to provide excellent customer service. I hope that my experience will be addressed and that future guests will not encounter the same issues.

Our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first bite, we were delighted by the variety and quality of dishes offered. The hotel is newly renovated, but I learned from the front desk that it has been open for more than half a year. I thought there would be a smell in the room, so I went to the hotel with the attitude of giving it a try. The result was a different feeling. Not only was there no smell in the room, There is also a faint scent of tea, which is very comfortable. The facilities are very complete. No matter it is hot or cold outside, you can drink smooth drinking water as soon as you return to the room. The lighting is very good. You can see the local address park when you open the curtains. The scenery and night view are particularly beautiful. I live on the 11th floor. I can appreciate the quietness and beautiful night view of Xining, Qinghai Province at night. In short, I am very satisfied, very satisfied. I had a great time staying with my children and the trip was also very pleasant. Everything about the hotel They are all disposable items, clean and hygienic, and they are delivered repeatedly. I will not charge for them. I used to charge for the second portion when I went to other places. This hotel did not charge any fees. Although the breakfast was not large, it was very delicious. We booked three standard rooms. Seeing that we were traveling with children, we upgraded to a parent-child room for free. I thought it was an old hotel, but I didn't expect the room facilities to be well maintained. The room was very hot and comfortable. When I checked out in the morning, I was given two bottles of hot water. I rarely comment, but I really recommend this hotel. It is very cost-effective.

Was told I am given a free room upgrade, but honestly I can't tell the difference. Also the room in the listing image was larger and brighter but the actual room I received was extremely rather grim looking, not to mention it doesn't even look like half the room size in the listing image. I also can't seem to adjust the aircon temp as it will remain at room temperature no matter what I set, however xining is quite cooling in general so it's still acceptable. In the room I was give, the glass panel at the washroom side had a severely cracked side which seem like it will break if I had closed the glass door too hard. I took a video immediately before using the toilet in case it really does get shattered, but luckily it did not Very unsafe nevertheless. The shower was the worst, every night I had to gamble if it will be cold or scalding hot water. I set the shower value slightly towards the warm side, and the water became scalding hot within seocnds, and if I move it to the cold side, it became freezing cold within seconds. Even if I set it exactly in the middle, it will give me either one of the extreme temperature. Had to keep adjusting from hot to cold so that it stay at a comfortable and safe temp range. The toilet bowl flush in a very stupid manner too, by first flooding the bowl from bottom up, this means that if you took a dump and it's a slightly sticky one, it's gonna stick. The electric kettle was so noisy when turned on that it sound like a train passing right beside my room. And speaking of noise, the sound proofing of the room was one of the worst of every single hotel I stayed in before. You can literally hear new occupants dragging their luggage or family chattering non stop right after they exit the lift. FYI, my room was literally the furthest away. Every time your neighbors from 3 room away turn on their tap water, you can hear it, even if that's like 4am in the night. The hairdryer is a safety hazard too. Tried to use it once and after plugging in and turning it on, smoke immediately came oozing out of it, so I immediately switched it off and remove the plug. Never used it since. Oh yes one last thing I have to say is that as a hotel PLEASE NEVER USE MOVEMENT OR VOICE CONTROLLED LIGHTINGS. While I wash up every day, I had to keep waving my hands like an ***** every few minutes in order to prevent the lights from going out. The detection is sooooo off that unless there's a huge action at the correct spot, it will not turn the lights back. This was absolutely annoyance. However the things I mentioned above are although not welcomed, but can be tolerated. Personally, the only thing I really love about this was the free tea. And that is also a highly recommended must try. I believe that's ******* black tea which is also a local specialty. I regret not trying earlier because at the latter of my trip, I no longer pass by stores that sells ******* black tea. Recommendation to the hotel is include a way to buy some of this tea. Overall, I will only recommend the hotel to someone who do not have any other choice or have a lower budget in mind.

I accompanied my children to take the public examination in Qinghai, which is very close to the examination center of Qinghai University for Nationalities. Unlike other hotels, this store has not raised prices, so it is considered a conscientious business. Although the decoration of the room is old, the service and facilities are first-class. The mattress is very comfortable and medium-hard, and I feel no discomfort when I wake up in the morning. There are two sinks in the bathroom, so you don't have to compete with your children to use them. The restaurant was closed when we went to have breakfast, but the waiter didn't stop us and prepared some simple dishes for us.
