As my room is a sample of 1 I cannot vouch for other people's experiences at this location. What I do not understand is why some consideration to the age of the property is not considerered by some reviewers. This property is probably 50 years old and designed at a time when ”luxury” amenties were not the fore front of the motel's objectives. It was designed for good value for a traveler less needy/sophisticated (I think needy applies to the ”sophisticated” traveller. For me this motel is just right. It has been upgraded and everything works well. Is the room perfect? No. Given the sheer volume of travelers coming to this property it is hard to keep up with the wear and tear the visiting guests cause. And heaven forbid they treat their rooms like their own home? Forget it. I wanted to note that the person manning the front desk was most pleasant and I felt welcomed. So, don't expect perfection. Good value and room 309 is all right.
