Superb very clean well maintained hotel. Staff is very friendly. Mouthwatering food. beach is very clean and all stakeholders including all other hotels and surf schools are taking care of it. One can surf either side of the hotel beaches. Very safe and well maintained swimming pool add more glamor. Anyhow prices are very unreasonable. A water bottle cost me Rs 650 and the same brand of it , within 100 meters from hotel was only Rs 120. For our first lunch cost us Rs 33,000+ as they refused to add that to FB saying it starts from Dinner!! but since we had one dinner out side and skipped the lunch the day we departed, altered bill from full board to HF , reduction was only 4000+/day. This is absurd and we have never experience such in any other place. Such pricing may get them quick returns but ruined their reputation much quicker. So plan your budget so that you don't have any regret of extras.

The food here was very good indeed, best Dhal I have ever had. Good location and pretty interior of the hotel. The bedrooms are in need of updating (we had 106) but we got over that and appreciated our lovely sea view and balcony. Upgrade to a suite is highly recommended. The beach here is lovely with a lifeguard, and the man made semi lagoon area just along the beach makes swimming safer and easier. Super beach cafe close with daily fish catch and soft drinks. All the team at Garton’s Cape are helpful, happy and very kind. Easy taxi into Galle for shopping but closer by there are some lovely beach bars and Italian Gelato bar/restaurant in Ahangama. Lots of gap year students and surfer types having fun.

It is very close to the beach and you will cross the road. The room is clean and spacious, and the bathroom facilities are convenient and practical. There is a swimming pool in the hotel yard, it is very good to sunbathe and swim. Need to be reminded that all hotels, including the five-star hotels that later lived in Colombo, do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers, so you need to prepare yourself. In the room view, it is very convenient to go swimming, surfing and walking at the beach. It’s great to climb the rocks in the evening to watch the sunset, watch the waves, watch the sorghum fisherman fishing, and watch the surf! Walking on the beach, many home stalls, lit candles, music is very romantic, and the price is not high. The hotel room is good, the decoration is basically over, it is estimated that there will be an elevator soon, no need to carry the luggage to climb the building. We booked half-dinner, dinner can be ordered according to the meal, there are local flavors, there are whole grilled fish, the variety of each meal is not the same; the prawns, squid, fish pieces in the seafood rice, I think it is delicious. Breakfast is also good, although the variety is not many, but the taste is good, but also enough to choose. We didn't know if we didn't eat at the hotel for lunch. Book whale watching directly at the hotel, go to Yala National Park for discounts, including hotel pick-up and drop-off, complete the project, much cheaper than some websites. The boss is very enthusiastic. The obvious feeling is that it is not profitable. The WiFi is not good. When you come up, you can call the official online customer service immediately. If you have no results, you can lend your mobile WiFi to us. Our scheduled outings also have special tips and advice. It’s especially early for two consecutive days. The location of the hotel is good, the sea view room is really super, and the dinner in the hotel restaurant is also very delicious, very cost-effective!
