Le Bellevue Modern Lodge

The hotel was at the great location. Room was comfy and peaceful. Best for the families or couples for a quick vaccation from the loud cities.

My family and I stayed a night at the Bellevue Lodge and left wishing we could stay longer. The lodge is spotless, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. The view is also stunning as the patio overlooks the valley. Our children loved the hot tub and so did we! We also want to thank Marc, the manager who was very friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Overall we heartily recommend this lodge and hope to return soon!

This is such a wonderful, clean, and cozy place to stay, with an incredible view, great room decor, and customer service that goes above and beyond. The only critiques I have are that the shower in my room (the Meridian) did not get as hot as I would’ve liked. Pretty lukewarm, in fact. Also, the rooms weren’t exactly soundproof. Granted, the sounds that I was hearing were pretty muffled, but it was still rather noticeable at moments and gave the impression of being in a bedroom in a house of people. Lastly, through no fault of the hotel’s, the options for food delivery in the evening are practically non-existent, and the options for decent food at night *at all* are mostly limited to taking the 30-40 minute drive into Gatineau or Ottawa. The hotel provides a list of options for restaurants in the area, but l’d definitely put some intention into planning ahead if you generally eat in the evening. Overall, I came here for a solo getaway and was able to experience a sense of solitude, relaxation, connection with nature, and great rest thanks to this lovely accommodation. This will certainly be my go-to place to stay whenever I am in the area.

Convenient location- close to caves, Gatineau park, village of Wakefield and short drive to Chelsea. Kitchen was well equipped. View out back is beautiful and peaceful. Could hear a little bit of noise from people upstairs but was not bothersome. Mattress was a little bit too firm but apartment was very clean and bedding was cozy.
