We had a great time, wish we could have stayed more! Definitely coming back, very clean, breakfast and dinner buffet options were good and the service was really good.

I cannot fault the staff for their friendliness and efficiency, especially Anna in the restaurant who went above and beyond everyday. Our room, block 6) was dated and basic and the cleaner did not clean every day and changed the towels infrequently. Our bed linen was not changed during the week’s stay. The balcony door had a broken lock, and being on the ground floor this was concerning, but after telling reception it was repaired that day. Breakfast was acceptable although all the fresh fruit was covered with syrups (unacceptable for a diabetic) with pears etc hidden behind the counter. Most of the choices were only average but better than the dinners which were poor and lacking in imagination. Even the Greek salad was unpleasant with lettuce bulking up the dish. Meats and vegetables were overcooked and had been standing a while, so cool and desserts were pure sugar, Generally I cannot see how this is rated a 4/5 star hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for the week on an organised tour and I must be staying in a different place than the reviews. The hotel is lovely. Everything is spotless, great food and been looked after very well. Have really enjoyed my week's stay and would recommend to anyone and would return.

This is definitely NOT a 5 star hotel. Accommodation is below expectations and the service as well. Rude and not helpful at all!!! Facilities are not as the pictures in the website and the food is lower than standard

I visited alkyon hotel in July. Although it is high season, all employees where very friendly. Rooms are clean . The food in the hotel is very good. In the gardens , there is plenty of place for children to play. Three swimming pools are extraordinary for everyone to enjoy summer holidays

Room very dirty the day we arrive they don’t change bed cover toilet full of hair from previous guest .. the day we arrive we have to wait one hour to get swimming pool tower …staff in the pool I don’t find them friendly with no Greek nationality…swimming pool full of kids I m doubting that they are Hotel Guest (from outside ) we couldn’t enjoy even swimming..I give one star only for lady I found her in breakfast cleaning the floor as she was nice …I don’t really recommend it

SK August in Alkyon. The room is very nice with a super comfortable mattress (double bed). 3 years ago when we stayed in a 3-bed room that was in the garden like a bungalow, the mattresses were not comfortable and the room was a bit old. Maybe the building we stayed in now was renovated. The 2 swimming pools are very nice. The big one in front was very crowded, maybe it is suitable for children. The breakfast is fantastic. The meals are equally good with very nice salads, cheeses, fruits, sweets. In the mains maybe he would like more variety. But it always had meat, fish and side dishes and some mainly without meat for those who don't eat. Because I had read that they charge you for water at meals and at breakfast (something that made me unhappy before I went), let me say that this was not the case when I went (maybe there were complaints and they reconsidered). There was 1.5 lt of cold water on the tables, which you were not charged for!

The rooms were nice, with a balcony and everything was well maintained and the service was attentive and very friendly. Food was extremely fresh, very good and the buffet was always well stocked. The nearby beach with loungers was also very nice, and you could also get bath towels. We spent an extremely pleasant time there
