It's about 11 kilometers from the hotel to downtown Zurich. The hotel room is not big, so it's OK for one person, but it seems crowded for two people. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is quite good. We ordered three dishes. The slate beef tasted quite good. The slate was heated. The beef was cut into small pieces and blanched on the slate. It was very tender in the mouth. The pan-fried salmon was also quite good. It's delicious, the salmon is not good, and the side dishes are also good. The thinly sliced ​​beef slices are cold, but they are cut very thin and are quite tender in the mouth. Overall, I think you can try it.

Practical hotel in the Zurich region with good value for money. Clean, well soundproofed, comfortable room, in a charming but quiet area. Only downside: breakfast is only served from 7:30 a.m., which is really too late (ideal: 6:30 a.m.)

Meals and overnight stay in the hotel for a sporting event (11 people). Meals and overnight stays were reserved in advance by email (chicken breast with salad) was the hotel's suggestion. We were asked twice whether fries were included as there were a few young people there. One person did not want the menu but wanted to order from the menu. Conclusion for the meal: They said the menu was ordered 11 times, and fries were not included (had to be ordered separately). We were told that the 11 menus would be charged, so the person who wanted to eat à la carte also had the menu. We were told that breakfast was from 9:00 a.m., although the rooms said "breakfast from 7:00 a.m. And all of that for a couple of potatoes, sad :-( Very inflexible, we will never go there again

Unfortunately, the food at an event is a disaster. For several years I have been there once a year for dinner in the large hall. When the owners changed a few years ago, I was happy that everything was changing. Apparently the chefs are somehow still the same or have not been replaced. But this has nothing to do with passion for cooking. The roast was really bad and inedible (very dry, the edges were really dried out, not a good taste), pasta was OK, but that's not difficult. The salad was the cheapest ready-cut salad with a dressing. I just don't understand it. Every year there are always more than 100 people from the village there and it would be the best advertising. Luckily I know what the food tastes like, so I can eat at home before the event and never go there privately during the year. Unfortunately we have to eat there once a year, there is no other option in the village for so many people. Wallberg knows this and so they just don't care... The money will come one way or another. I just find it very disappointing.

Ich wurde sehr gut empfangen und habe ein tolles Zimmer erhalten, das meinen Erwartungen voll und ganz entsprach. Besonders erfreulich war, dass mir ein Wasserkocher zur Verfügung gestellt wurde, was meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Personal ging auf all unsere Wünsche ein, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Das Zimmer war schön und hatte einen Balkon, der den Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet hat. Ich kann diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen!
