Nice hotel with parking outside. Run by a lovely lady. 45mins walk down to Manarola, and it's 1.50euro per person to take the bus back up. Bus stop is outside the hotel. Rooms are clean and nice air conditioning in Summer.

Our stay at Hotel il Saraceno was a surprising reward for our previous cancelled hotel in La Spezia. As we drove up the winding mountainside toward Volastra Riomagiore, we came upon Hotel il Saraceno in the heart of Cinque Terre. We went in & found two rooms we needed. When my group met Antonella, the owner & full time operator, we discovered a sweet Italian lady that could not do enough for us! This place was clean tile throughout like a hospital, but that was nothing to complain about! The rooms were large & comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious! We walked the hill outside to the bus that took us to the nearest train station where we visited all of Cinque Terre in two days! I have a thousand photos of this amazing region I now cheerish & Antonella’s hotel to come back to each night! Mark

The hotel is situeted high above costal area in the quiet small village. The room was spacious - if you come for a long stay there is enough place to store several suitcases. Small balcony with a view. The hotel is clean like an ER. The lady at the reception desk warmly welcomed us and provided useful information about 5terre. The rooms are called by the names of the surrounding villages and not by numbers - very nice idea. You need to order your breakfast at the evening, but if you feel hungry - there is a "refill". Few minutes walking from the church there are two hiking roads: to Corniglia and Manarola. Take the path to Corniglia: breathtaking views to the sea and after 10 min you'll reach a boutique winery: take a glass of white wine (or bottle :-) ) and enjoy the sunset. The bus to/from Monarola operates until late evening (~ 23:30), +/- every 30 min with some changes in the schedule in the weekends. The bus stop is 50 m from the hotel

Just an ideal place to stay for a couple of days. Bus from outside the door takes 5-10 mins to get you down to the town. The host is a lovely lady who can’t do enough to help. Also a huge help that they have a car park as this means you don’t have to worry about the car for a few days whilst here. Would strongly recommend

The hotel was easy to find, with transit dropping you off less than 100 m from the entrance. It provided amazing views from the balconies and surrounding areas. The owner is a very nice woman who was extremely helpful with orienting us in Cinque Terre and the hotel. Breakfast was made to order due to covid, and was prompt and delicious each time. The room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. The bed was inviting, the bathroom was bright, stocked, and roomy, and there was lots or storage and TV channels for those looking. We were told the heat wasn't working, but given it was May, this was no issue.

Perfect for those with a car. A bus leaves opposite to Manarola and from there you can take the train to the Cinque Terre. Furthermore, the center of Volastra is opposite the hotel and has a wonderful restaurant called Locanda Tiaburcion that has divine seafood! It was recommended by the owner of the Pousada and it was wonderful! The stay was also excellent, I recommend it!

It's a gem in the Cinque Terre: everything was more than perfect. Antonella and her husband do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible and it is successful. Shuttle a stone's throw from the hotel for Manarola where it is impossible to park...To be booked without delay....

Good hotel. Excellent location for visiting the 5 lands as a shuttle leaves from Volastra for Manarola. The hotel offers kindness. Mrs. Antonella gives excellent explanations for visiting all of this. The breakfast, although not a buffet, is good and plentiful. The rooms are clean. Small flaw, they are not equipped with a mini bar which is convenient in this period. I highly recommend it. Stayed in August 2023. One thing to put in the filling. Liguria is beautiful but it is starting to become a place just for peppers. Attention dear gentlemen for those who have a business. There are also Italians, not just foreigners

This hotel is in an absolutely top position for visiting the Cinque Terre. The owner is really kind and professional. Super appreciated breakfast with various choices to be booked the night before and then prepared on the spot. No buffet to avoid waste. Clean and spacious room, I only recommend changing the pillows as they are really very thin and uncomfortable. A greeting
