Very comfortable, perfect bathroom with all toilet items, good wifi, breakfast with local products and very quiet! Good to rest !!

Stayed for one night whilst travelling between Lisbon and the Algarve. The hotel was easy to find and as town was not busy parking close by was easy. May be an issue in high season. Met by a lovely lady who showed us to our room on the first floor. The room was a deluxe double with side sea view. The room was good size with comfy bed and good bathroom. The view was over houses to the sea. The breakfast was adequate but few hot options. It is well situated just a couple of blocks to riverside. The journey to the hotel was much more relaxed than haring down the motorway. A big recommend.

Perfect spot for our womens hiking group. Maria took such great care of us, recommending restaurants, providing directions, taking care of our gear. We enjoyed our fresh tuna salad sandwich lunches she made for our long hiking days, complete with homemade cake we got to smell baking while resting in the late afternoon. How do you solve a problem like Maria? She helped a member of our group who felt ill find a clinic on a national holiday. Hope to return. Clean, well located, warm atmosphere.

We stayed at Guarda Rios while walking the Fisherman’s Trail of the Rota Vicentina. Maria was the friendliest host we encountered on our trip. We were offered cake and port on arrival and Maria told us about the ferry we could take to avoid walking back along the main road again. The room was clean with lovely touches and the bathroom was very stylish. A great breakfast was provided which set us up for our day’s walking. Highly recommend a stay here.

My wife and I recently stayed in this wonderful hotel which is situated right in the heart of Vila Nova Milfontes. Our room was lovely and spacious with a great balcony. The best thing about this hotel though is the attention to detail and the little extras that they provided. Such as complimentary cake and port. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and the service provided was excellent.

Everything was top notch. The room, the welcome, the included breakfast and the hosting. Booking at a restaurant done for us. Special thanks to Maria who noticed it was my birthday and gifted me a bottle of vhino verde. How special is that. Moite obrigada!!

Wonderful hosts, room was spacious with luxury linens. Although we were off season, and it was quiet the town itself is a lovely place to stroll around. It is the little things that made this stay special, and I'd list them but then it wouldn't be a surprise. Isabel helped us find a restaurant which was a few doors down, and had fabulous food, and sat down and chatted with is for quite a bit. I would rate this as an upscale boutique hotel, worth the price. next time I would choose the room upstairs that faces the water, what a view!

Das Hotel ist eine kleine Oase. Alles ist mit Liebe eingerichtet. Die Besitzerinnen sind äusserst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein, hat aber alles. Frische Eier werden nach Wunsch zubereitet. Das Zimmer mit Aussicht auf das Flussdelta war sehr schön.

Wir haben diese Unterkunft im Rahmen unserer Wanderung am Fischerweg für eine Nacht besucht. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, ein Frühstücksraum, in dem es am Nachmittag für die Gäste auch Kaffee und Kuchen gab, sehr freundliches und seviceorientiertes Personal. Dazu eine super Gastgeberin, die zudem noch spitzenmässig deutsch spricht. Ich würde diese Unterkunft definitiv wieder buchen.
