Green Park Boutique Hotel

My family and I stayed here for our last 2 nights in Vientiane and we were not disappointed. Upon checking in we were greeted by refreshing cold drinks. The check in process was incredibly smooth. The hotel staff helped us move our bags to our two adjoining rooms. Our rooms overlooked the garden/pond and was extremely cozy. I only wished we had stayed longer. The pool was amazing! I found it rare to get deep pool that is swimmable in Laos and Thailand and this one did not disappoint! It was perfect. We were able to get poolside service too. We also dined at the restaurant and our dinner and drinks were great. It is hard to find nice cocktails in SEA outside of the major hotels and Green Park’s dry martini did not disappoint. My parents liked the hotel so much they even joined us the following night and rented their own room right next to ours. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back to stay here since we have family in Laos. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Stay in a hotel with a long history and feel the changes of time. It is said to be the Governor's Palace during the French colonial period, conveying a retro and elegant atmosphere and fatal attraction. It can be seen that the owner is doing his best to maintain its beauty, and the services are all in English. It does not prevent you from feeling that the entire hotel is eager to please every guest. The location is great. It is 6 kilometers from the airport and takes about 10 minutes to take a TAXI. It is also very close to the Laos Arc de Triomphe and the National Cultural Museum. You can walk to Foreigner Street or the night market. It only lasts a few minutes, but it brings you a kind of tranquility isolated from the world...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this top hotel in Vientiane. The entire stay was very pleasant. The hotel is in a prime location with convenient transportation and surrounding facilities. The rooms are spacious and bright, luxuriously decorated yet warm, and the beds are comfortable, providing an excellent rest environment. The service staff is warm and thoughtful, and they are very professional in both check-in and daily room service. In terms of dining, the dishes are exquisite and delicious, with a wide variety. In addition, the hotel's fitness center and swimming pool facilities are also very complete. Overall, this hotel has won my high praise for its excellent service and first-class facilities. For travelers who are looking for a high-quality accommodation experience, this is undoubtedly a recommended choice.

I've stayed here many times whilst working in Laos. It's a very central location so easy to walk to bars and restaurants int he city central area. The facilities and service are excellent. Good gym and pool never too busy. Room is ok but not quite as modern as some of the international 5* chains. The biggest plus is the staff. Very reliable, professional and friendly.

The hotel is simply exquisite. Welcome to France in Laos. The room and the furniture just makes you feel you are in Paris. The room is the best I’ve stayed in with 32 countries under my belt. Simply stunning. The staff are simply wonderfull and super friendly and the manageress was wonderfull in assisting me over a major issue when I was left with no access to funds after my credit card was stolen in Cambodia a few days before I had arrived in Laos. She was professional but handled the issue with a very sympathetic and empathetic way. Well done to her, because she obviously leads by example, which is why the staff are so friendly and good at there jobs.

I was disappointed with this property. I booked a 2-bedroom unit, and my biggest complaint was the many mosquitoes in the room when we checked-in and although we tried smashing them all between our clapping hands, more continued showing up during our 4-day stay even though we kept the doors and windows closed. We were also greeted with a dirty rag on the bathroom counter that a housekeeper had left and a half-full water bottle on the balcony with a cigarette bud floating in it. The washing machine in the room was disgusting… black mold growing all over the rubber door gasket, and it smelled terrible. The room's safety box stopped working, so a hotel engineer unbolted the old box and replaced it with another one. The next day, the replacement safety box would not open, and the engineer could not find the physical key that is used to open the box when the electronic mechanism stops working, so they had to physically destroy the box door with a hammer, chisel, and hacksaw blade to retrieve my valuables. Lastly, the beds were too hard and the wi-fi was unreliable and very slow. There was no effort by hotel management to apologize for these problems and I will not be returning.
