We were given self check in instructions and when we arrived the key was not there. We tried to message and call the property on *********** and their number but got no response. We emailed *********** and they told us the property said they could no longer host us. We never received any information from them until the next day when they gave us check out information which wasn’t helpful as we had to stay somewhere else. Very lucky we could find other accommodations. Would not recommend at all. After I wrote this negative review they charged us for a stay we did not make an have not responded to a single message requesting a refund.

POSITIVE: the owner was very understanding in postponing our stay and giving us a voucher: in fact, two days before our arrival (scheduled for November 2021) Austria promulgated a total lockdown, which in fact would have made it impossible for us to stay, and the times for cancellation with *********** meanwhile they had expired. We then traveled regularly in April 2022. NEGATIVE: the owner did not provide us with any other contact other than an email, to which she responded based on the level of annoyance of the request: to our email to ask for a late check-out... ABSOLUTE SILENCE, to our email confirming check-out and greetings... IMMEDIATE RESPONSE 😅 I myself found myself in a potentially serious mix-up (I arrive from the airport exhausted and go to get the key from the agreed place... AND I CAN'T FIND IT. Probably whoever prepares the keys and the rooms got mixed up and had prepared another room for us), and if I hadn't solved it myself, I wouldn't have had ANYONE to call for emergencies. After this experience, I will only travel to hotels or establishments with an active cell phone number.
