Auberge Hotel Spa Watel

This is not a 4* hotel and our room looked nothing like the pictures. Everything is very old and dingy. The AC is super noisy and very old, we had to climb on the counter to adjust it. Don't get the breakfast - not worth it. The view is nice but you can't enjoy it as window gives on a windowed hallway where everyone on your floor walks by. Amenities (pool and spas) also very old. Everything just gave off an icky feeling. Bed was comfy and staff was friendly and helpful.

This is the worst and most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The owners apparently purchased it in the 1980’s, but have clearly not updated anything since then. It is advertised as a luxury 4 star hotel, but left me feeling fleeced and in need of a good shower. Don’t stay here.

Potentially the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If it cost $5 a night and was 1 star then maybe I’d be ok with that, but it’s over $300 Canadian per night! List of things that are horrible: * cost * pictures and online showing some luxury spa, when in fact it’s just 14 dirty, home grade hot-tubs outside * random door hinges broken, bits of curtain rails poking out everywhere * it’s like someone’s house converted into a hotel * lot of the electrical sockets in the room were chipped, cracked, pieces hanging off or didn’t work at all, likely not up to code at all * no virtual key system, every room has a physical key and you only get one * they don’t let you stay for one night, you have to book more than one * coffee machine in the room is ancient, black and decker pot with some coffee mate -＞ 4 star? * no towel racks in the room * no sink in the bathroom * sink has been installed on a desk out in the main room and none of the surroundings are waterproof so likely will rot soon and some unfortunate guest will encounter that * air conditioning has been installed below the desk with the sink and doesn’t propagate around the room so they just got a painter’s fan from home depot and run that next to it, 4 star? * room wasn’t clean when we got there, dead flies everywhere * they didn’t clean the room on the 2nd day and to make up for it they gave us some clean towels I should really list more but you get the picture, at this price you shouldn’t ever consider staying here!

So I went here 2 weeks ago with my gf and around 10pm we hear the woman next door crying . The crying doesn't stop and the wall aren't very thick. Try and reach the front desk but no one is there after a certain time. Send email to the front desk called left messages as we thought it was an emergency almost called the police . Woman didn't stop crying till 4 am we didn't sleep cause we were worried about her all night Over all real disappointment the next day they told us they were drunk didn't offer another night stay . Ruined a very special night for me and my gf

overall a great trip and great spa. Lots of snow but room was too hot and no window to open. We came to ski and snowshoe and there was excellent trails for both nearby. Spa is clean and well appointed but rooms are bit dated. Staff is excellent

Would recommend! Staff are all friendly, super helpful . It was also quiet. We would go back . We found the room to be hot. After turning on the a/c the room was comfortable. The store are not to far and able to deliver food as option.

We wouldn't stay here again: steep climb to hotel entrance if the few parking spaces near front entrance are taken. No access to the lake, spa overlooking lake not working, indoor pool was a joke. Rooms were cramped. I was promised two rooms with two queen-size beds and that's not what we got. AC didn't work in one room. Outside corridor was hot and stuffy. Found man's underwear hanging on the back hook of my super small bathroom. Tired owner had to correct our bill when I pointed out he had double charged us. Seriously, stay in Mont Tremblant.
