Hotels near Taehwagang, Ulsan

I booked a standard single bed room. A room just for sleeping Moreover, a single is an uncomfortable room just for sleeping.... You can think of it as such. The hotel is in the city center, close to shopping malls and restaurants, coffees etc. and also very close to the Ulsan Intercity Bus Terminal. Plus if you coming from Taehwagang Station you can reach the hotel by walking too. They have 24h reception and they speak english. The room was very standard, nothing special, but quite clean and compared to other places I stayed in Korea, the mattress wasn't extremely hard, but perfect. Apperantly there's a buffet breakfast until 9:30, but I couldn't try, because I slept in. Would choose Toyoko Inn again anywhere.

It was my first time going to Ulsan. I couldn't stop watching the Ferris wheel view!! I got out of the parking lot and went to the elevator. It smelled good. It's a good hotel. The staff who conducted the check-in was bright and kind, so I should have known your name, but it's a pity. And when I entered the room, it was spacious and comfortable. I was very satisfied with the view of the Ferris wheel right there! Especially at night, it's always glowing. I should have taken a proof photo, but I only took a photo of the Ferris wheel.... Reason 1 to go again... If I come to Ulsan again next time, I will book Lotte Hotel Ulsan again. It could be because it was a weekday, but I went from the parking lot to the hotel, so parking was very convenient. Finally, it was nice that they were so kind until check-out. Lotte Hotel Ulsan is the best hahaha gogo

Hotel service was very good. I arrived late at 9pm after working in Ulsan first, and the staff was very friendly, from parking information to places to eat nearby. Breakfast is also great value for money! It was a clean, easy-to-eat Korean buffet in the morning, and the food tasted very good.

The location of this hotel is great. I spent a night here with my friends and after a great sleep in their very comfy rooms, we grabbed a very good and delicious breakfast at the hotel buffet and then we went walking hoping to find a cute coffee shop. I'm not kidding when I tell you we found almost 7 extremely cute coffee shops just 10 mins away by foot. Besides the location, their facilities are pretty great. Their rooms are big and clean, with very comfortable beds and also a great bathroom with a large vanity and a really nice bathtub.

Stayed for 1 night First, I booked and used a premier standard room. First of all, I felt like they did their best to explain my requests during check-in. I also liked the detailed and slow explanation of using the hotel. Each and every staff member on the first floor was very kind and attentive. Even inside the hotel, Shilla Hotel's unique attention to detail and attention to detail could be seen, so it was fun to compare the differences with other hotels. However, the disappointing thing is that I felt that the cleaning was not done well. I checked in at 3 o'clock and went up immediately, but there was dust on the receiver side... and dust on the window side... There were gummy food stains on the desk too, so I was very disappointed. The soundproofing wasn't very good, so even though it was on a high floor, the sound of cars passing by and the sound of doors opening and closing in other rooms spread like an echo, so I think it's something to consider if you're a sensitive sleeper. And the toothbrush provided at the hotel... the bristles of the toothbrush kept falling out while brushing my teeth... so I thought about buying a toothbrush...

I was assigned to 1507 on the 15th floor. After staying for one night, I was satisfied and didn't search for other hotels, so I booked one more night. The structure was slightly different, but I was satisfied. The bedding was more comfortable than others, so I slept well. I usually have insomnia and have trouble sleeping, but I passed out and fell asleep. It was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, and the view of Taehwagang was nice. The only thing that was disappointing was the staff at the front desk the day before and today and I was disappointed. They seemed so insincere and annoyed that I felt embarrassed to ask them anything. Aside from that, I was generally satisfied and used it.

Our son and his family have moved to Ulsan about a year ago for work in the shipping industry and this was our first visit. His work colleague recommended this hotel and helped us book it. The hotel was spacious and clean, the room was comfortable, the room amenities included toothbrushes and bathrobes as well as the other usual toiletries. The staff were very professional and pleasant and spoke English well. The buffet breakfast was diverse and plentiful. The food included traditional western breakfast foods (eggs, cereal, toast and pastries, sausages, fruit, etc.) and Asian offerings such as noodles, dumplings, fried rice, soup, and a variety of salads, cold cuts and cheeses as well as meat and fish dishes). Milk, juices, coffee and tea were also offered. The food was tasty and plentiful, and ended up being our primary meal for the day because we weren't very hungry for the rest of the day after indulging in the breakfast. There is a kids activity room in the hotel that we didn't use, but that looked really fun. The gym was one of the best, and well equipped hotel gyms we have ever seen and experienced. The pool looked great, but there is an extra charge to use it and we didn't have time. The tavern overlooks a lovely garden and waterfall. Parking was very convenient. The tavern offers a nice cocktail and beer menu, but when we tried to order a martini, we were told that we could only select from the menu and that no other options were available. Not a big deal, but rather surprising. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is right across the street from the main entrance to the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard, and also across the street from the large Hyundai Department store. All those locations were walkable, as was the local market street, the nearby hospital, and many of the residential high rises. We didn't walk to the beach, but we could have. We were visiting family with a 2 year old so we didn't go to restaurants while we were there. Of note, the location of this hotel is actually Dong-gu, which is the equivalent of a large American suburban town to Ulsan. It is quite far from downtown Ulsan, and about a 40 minute taxi ride from Ulsan station. There is no easy public transportation from Ulsan or the station to Dong-gu. From what I could tell, and from what my son tells me, you either need a car, or need to be willing to take taxis to go very far away from Dong-gu to any attractions or tourist destinations. We were very please with our experience at the Hotel Hyundai and will definitely stay there on our next visit.

All rooms have sea views, and the facilities and location are also excellent. First, you can take an indoor half-body bath while looking at the sea. Be sure to bring bath salts with you. You can go directly to the beach from the first floor of the hotel. There are many restaurants on the beach, so it is good for dining. The hotel doesn't have its own breakfast buffet, but there are many restaurants nearby so it's not a problem. It was the most satisfying hotel I've ever been to.

The room is spacious and very clean. The staffs are friendly and nice. The view of the beach is our room is awesome. We would probably come back next time.
