Hotel Mahalaxmi, Near Mahakal Temple

I had a poor staying experience. Staff was non cooperative, bad maintainance, small and cozy rooms very expensive price. Only good part is located near mahakal tempel.

Hotel is very neat and clean. Even the toilets are very clean and airconditioner is in perfect working condition. Staff are very cordial and helpful.

We stayed for a night and the amount i paid (nearly for 2 couples) it was not a worthy experience. The hotel is located in a congested street, when you reach their you will find it more like a lodge. There is no lift, we were give 2 nd floor. I had brought elder parents with me and it was problematic for them to walk up to the floor multiple times in day. Room seemed like under-construction, ac's outer panel is missing, no trash bin, corridor was squeezy. We were given corner flat and there was door to the balcony which didn't get close properly and greatness was such that the corridor end door and our balcony door was connected. That means any one can enter from the balcony to our room. Great hotel i would say if it was lodge i would have never made such review. They don't have their own parking, pure plan where you park your four wheel as there are multiple parking lots and you might get confused which is the legitimate.

The room was poor condition with floor damage. Room on third floor with no lift. Hotel under renovation. No room service with not even tea service.

The only and only good thing about this is the location near the mahakaleshwar temple. I booked for my 2 nights stay for mahakal darshan visit. The reviews of this hotel is really bad on all the other booking. Okay before making the total payment i called the property and shared my concern about cleanliness and the property ensured that there will not be any issues but upon arrival i saw that ants were roaming all over the room. Bedsheets, blankets, and pillows were all very dirty. Went to reception and shared my concern, they put a clean looking cover (that have a couple of stains too) on the blanket but did not change the bedsheet and pillows and mop the room with just water. If i haven’t paid it all advance i would have refused to pay or move out immediately. Bathroom was filthy, shower taps were broken. A broken bucket and dirty mug was provided in replacement for that. Glass of the window was broken and cold air/dust and road noise were all coming in. Ac was there but no remote to operate, and yes, there was a phone in the room for intercom but it is for the reception to connect you when they want, then they unplug it. The staff is starting the female guests like they have never seen before any ladies. This is the deluxe double bed room condition, charged - per day. The property was dirty, spitting of pan and gutkha was all over in the corridor, no cleaning at all. The hotel gave me a room on the third floor and there is no lift, no staff to help you. You have to carry your luggage using a narrow twisted staircase. This doesn’t deserve to be such a high price. I think since the hotel get all the money in advance they don’t care later on about anything.

location good but in Rooms very high sealan,tape leaking ,no footmat,smell and jugaad in lock,only in sude patch weldung। in Room also according condition of room charges are very high
