This review is for Unit 1. What a deplorable disgrace! At $300/night, we expected cleanliness, at the very least. The BR carpet was filthy & stained, the a/c unit was riddled with mold, had only 1 luggage rack, & it had a very small dresser. The bathroom had a nasty rusty bobby pin stuck to the floor, rampant & thriving mold in the tub caulking & surrounding tiles & windowsill, cracked tiles under window, ancient shower knob riddled with mold, both towel bars have large areas of peeling finish exposing wood beneath, and a nasty looking jury-rigged piece of laminate around the wall-mounted faucet & knob. The kitchen has a sign taped above the stove stating "$50 fee for leaving dirty dishes" but a lot of dishes/pans stored in cabinets & shelves were dirty, the coffee maker was horribly encrusted with years of built-up coffee residue, the sink has a hole cut out next to the faucet that is covered with nasty, peeling scotch tape, filthy windowsills with moldy grout, there is a huge crack in the wall underneath the a/c unit that's large enough for your fingertips to fit in, and the a/c unit & grout around it is just rife with mold. There is only 1 teaspoon in the silverware drawer - the rest are large tablespoons; the silverware/cooking utensils and dishes are sadly lacking and in need of replenishment. The living room has no other seating besides the sofa, there is only 1 tiny table lamp; we never could get the TV to work - though Ashleigh, the housekeeper, was very helpful with this issue - so it was a no-go. The bedroom TV worked, but good luck with the remotes trying to change channels or find the channel guide! There was one incident when the entire place had no hot water for a couple of hours, which necessitated taking cold showers. as we were getting ready to attend a reunion dinner at the Yacht Club in downtown St. Pete. We've been coming to this same hotel for about 12 years because we love the location; when we first found it, the owners at that time did a wonderful job of keeping up the grounds & landscaping & other upkeep. We are so disappointed and saddened that this gem is now so blatantly neglected and in such a state of woeful dilapidation. If this property were located in a questionable neighborhood, we could understand this level of neglect. It is unconscionable that it is in the beautiful paradise that is Treasure Island. Shame on AirBnB for allowing this property's listing on their website. Needless to say, we will never return.
