We stayed one night at this fun hostel located in a convenient area of Tours. It’s an easy walk to the center of town. However we were glad that the hostel has a bar which also offered a a few snack ps. When we arrived (very hungry from a long day of travel), we were able to relax with a drink and a cheese/meat platter. They also provide luggage storage if you arrive before check in time. There is also a restaurant, which we didn’t try because it opened later. We reserved a private room with bath that was small, but comfortable and quiet. We had a great night’s sleep and would recommend the hostel for a short stay. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

I put 3/5 because I couldn't enjoy the benefit. Negotiation with the hotel is impossible to delay the reservation of a night (even paying a surcharge) because I took the unchanged price option. Sorry, since the hotel is far from being filled at that date.

We spent a night in this hotel. Late arrival we were very welcomed by the staff and in the morning. We had booked a room for 3 people +2 dogs. Spacious room and bathroom. We just returned our rental car to Enterprise and the guys there recommended we try Parvie for quick snack since we have about 1 hour until our train to Paris arrives. Upon entering, we were greeted by Lucas and Clara. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and modern decor of the dining room. Clara had such a jovial and pleasing attitude. She explained and answered all our questions. And Lucas was so helpful and attentive. We told them if they can make our food fast and they sure did! The food selection was just wonderful. We told . We were very fortunate to have gone to this restaurant and have such a wonderful experience provided by Clara and Lucas. Sorry we couldn’t say good y as we only had 5 minutes until our train departs. C'est vraiment excellent. Un service impeccable. Le Château est authentique avec son historique et appartenance. Le décor est imposant et de valeur. L'accueil de l'équipe est excellent/ Un très grand merci à Gaston, Ernest, et toute l'équipe. Nous avons été vraiment choyés par Gaston qui a été fantastique de l'arrivée jusqu'au départ! Le parc du château est très grand et très beau. Il y a des arbres fruitiers; pommiers, poiriers, figuiers, etc. Nous nous sommes régalés des fruits de ces derniers qui sont sucrés et succulents, directement de l'arbre, au petit déjeuner cueillis le matin même par Gaston, et en cadeau à emporter à notre départ, quelle délicatesse Gaston! Merci encore. Nous avons occupé la chambre Madame de Tournelle dans l'orangerie, bellement décorées avec une tapisserie en soie et des meubles d'époque; des produits de salle de bain Guerlain, un cake, de l'eau, une machine Nespresso et une bouilloire pour se faire des tisanes, tout y est. Les seules petites remarques: il manque une vrai commode avec miroir, un bureau, et la belle douche italienne évacue mal l'eau qui finit par déborder dans la salle de bain, et le robinet ferme mal. Le petit déjeuner est au-delà de nos attentes. Le premier jour il était servi à table car peu d'hôtes. Tout était excellent. Le deuxième jour, il y avait quorum pour mettre un buffet, et c'était encore mieux que le premier jour, il y avait de tout, sucré et salé, avec des produits d'excellent qualité. Vraiment bravo! Je recommande fortement. Attention à ceux qui s'y rendent par GPS, il y un village Château de la Vallière qui est à environ 45mn de ce château qui situé à la commune de Reugny, donc vérifiez bien que vous allez bien au bon endroit avant de prendre la route et de perdre inutilement 1h30 de route vers la mauvaise destination...
